Free options will provide job seekers with basic job listings while a paid option would offer services such as resume writing, enhancement of your profile to become attractive to prospective employers, or actively “bumping” to the top of the job listings.
To look for a job opportunity, you would use the search bar that prompts you to enter a keyword, job title, or employer. Many job posts initiate a filter for your search based on location, industry, experiences, or pay/salary range.
Improving your profile consists of making sure every section is filled out (personal details, work experience, education, skills, certifications) and including a professional photo. You should also remember to update your profile and resume as necessary based on your most recent accomplishments and experience.
Typically, job portals will have an "Account Settings" section on the job portal page, and find an option to "Close" or "Deactivate" your job portal account. There will be instructions to follow through on the account deactivation. Some job portals may require you to contact customer support to authenticate account and/or job portal closure.
To search for job opportunities, you would search for a keyword, job title, or employer directly in the search bar the job site typically contains. Many job posts would set off a filter for your search based on location, industry, experiences, or pay/salary range. After you initiate those filters you can now use them to get the most filtered job opportunities.
