Thank you so much for your honest review of a school which has monopolized cash in the market, without caring for anything else. For parents who look only at grades, take a step back: I studied in the US at a free public school and when I came to Chirec I topped the class with little to no effort. I...n our year, out of the two toppers of tenth, both of us came from outside Chirec, and had only joined late in their (tyrannical) system. It is not worth it to get into Harvard or IIT while neglecting mental well-being and basic human morals. If all you care about is a 100% in math and science, with no ethics, or care for students'' emotion, physical or mental health, then by all means, please send your child here. To those who have rejected this review: if you are an alumni of Chirec who advocates for this school, you are part of the problem. Please think about more than Ivy League or IIT. During my 12th standard in this school, more than 50% were having breakdowns because of the treatment they were subjected to by the administration (by which I mean a particular woman...!). These were suppressed. Attending the school and having your child attend it are two very different things. Perhaps comparing with Indian and US schools are unfair. However, it is - by the same terms - unfair for Chirec themselves to call themselves international - which means they see themselves as equal in standard to US schools. And by the way, if such comparisons are biased in US''s favor, consider this: in US, most education is free. In Chirec, students are forced to pay lakhs of rupees for sub-par education by US standards (depending on the state/system). Please attend the school, feel the pain of being a student there (despite many of its wonderful teachers and students), and then comment. This has been one of the most refreshing reviews to read. I sincerely thank you.Read More

Chirec Public School continually displays flagrant disregard for the mental, physical and emotional well being of its students. As a commercially oriented school, money comes first(ironic, considering it professors teaching 'valuable life skills' such as open-mindedness or kindness while treatin...Read more
