Delhi Belly

Aamir Khan can never disappoint his big time movie buffs. He has set a trend to give a huge hit one after another. Be it in terms of direction, production, acting and singing, he knows all the traits to win our heart and set the floor on fire. A huge hype was created before releasing the movie in regards to “erection scene of Imran” and a lot of “abusive dialogues”. The song D.K Bose has impressed the younger generation while left senior citizens dumbfounded. I must say that people should stop expecting decency out of a movie which has songs like “D.K. Bose” and “Ja Ja Chudail”.

Considering the script, the movie revolves around three rogues i.e. Tashi, Arup and Nitin. There is hell a lot of things which makes them different from each other.

Tashi- looks like a spoilt brat who has been playing with the feelings of his “would be wife”. He does have an aim of being famous as a Journalist but destiny holds something different for him. He keeps on wondering from one place to another and has a big heart. Why his heart is so big? Please do watch this flick for 96 minutes and you will discover it by yourself. From the scene of paying the rent to getting married in less than a month, he won’t leave any space in your mind to get bored or think about something else. His zany look with a combination of weird T-shirt and Jeans, his bedroom and the way he speaks will leave you spellbound.

Arup- has been working as a Cartoonist. He’s not a perfectionist and his work always falls into the “non-approved category”. He keeps on making amendments in the cartoons as per the guidelines of his boss. He’s highly disappointed and is in love with an unfaithful lass. The day he visits her home, he comes to know she’s getting married to someone else. The best part was, arup singing “Ja Ja Ja Chudail” song in his ex-girlfriend marriage. I was flabbergasted after hearing the wordings i.e. “Is Ladki ne Mera Chusa Hai, Aur maine iski Li Hai”.

Nitin- He was out of senses throughout the movie due to his fucking loose motions problem. There wasn’t a moment where he was approachable to have a walk and talk. Due to paucity of water, he made use of arup’s orange juices to wash his ass. His butts were cheeky and he was battling hard to make them apart. His huge beard, slow motion walk and abhorence for arup and tashi girlfriends, all made a huge difference to make him a center of attraction character. He wasn’t a common man for sure. He discovers an awesome way to blackmail his landlord for not paying the amount of rent. Instead he made the plans to earn the money through the same medium.

My Views

It is obvious that DB is not a sort of movie which you would prefer to watch with your parents. It’s something which can only be liked by the generation in between 18 to 28. The people above 30 won’t give thumps up to this fucking flick where everything is messed up from toilet paper to their faces. Aamir has already set the benchmark by considering this flick for people above 18. It does have some unnecessary abusive language which was not required at times. I believe, had it not been placed throughout the movie, people would have loved to skip it. Imran deserves an applause for his performance. Vir and Kunal has equally justified their roles and they have shown the potential to handle more challenging roles in future. If you can recall my suggestion in regards to Dhobi Ghat, this movie is either liked or detested by you completely. There’s no midway to watch such flicks which finally falls into the Gaffe Category. As Aamir said, it is only for the people who are young by heart.
