Nayanthara's character was not at all impressive in the original ...my opinion. It looked NT's character played more like a 'see-me-see-me-not' type of game with audience. Of course in the titillating side...

The rationale behind choosing Aamir is exactly that... no rationale... no pre formed bias, no reason, a signal to the fact that this could happen to anybody... even you.

Ola! Everyone... I did read your review and yeah the comments of almost everybody. Kamini, I strongly believe that although you have pinpointed the symptoms but failed to pinpoint the root of the problem(that ain't how a journo should settle isnt it?). Scalpel has defended ISRO/DRDO yet introspect...ion is not what is made. Its sensitive information regarding my nature of work, yet I had a first hand experience of the work of DRDO in very limited capacity, and can say yes, its disappointing given the failures we are seeing but you should give the people out there, their due. They are working in the presence of literally demoralizing political encouragement, numbing red-tapism and almost vision-less administration and infinite trade embargoes. Sample this, one educational organization can import a particular machine having its potential use in high quality scientific research, yet DRDO cant even have a look at it inspite of having the money. The supplying company in EU and US will not even give a look at it( and this is again a first hand experience). So you know what, the symptoms or the end results are missiles disappearing in Bay of Bengal is very well in front of our eyes, yet the presence of the real problem has been kept out of the public domain partly because of the absence of vision-less politico-scientific milieu. Lets talk about that someday, Kamini, we will plenty to talk about.Read More

'...And kudos to Aamir for letting the kid walk away with all the credit, and underplaying his superstar status very carefully. It takes a lot of humility to rise beyond one’s superstardom and let someone else shine in the spotlight, and Aamir, through TZP, has done just that....' Very true, you ...couldnt have been more right... and yeah good review...Read More

There are many films which keep you thrilled and riveted to your seat, building on unsurpassed tension yet in the climactic scenes they fall apart, simply because they created an unsatiated hunger. If anything, then I am Legend(starring Will Smith) has failed in this. It builds up the tension an...Read more

@Sachin Thanks Sachin. I hope to look forward to a great time over here @Abhinav Abhinav you are right. I did expect to understand the film and I came out dazed. I do appreciate and root with my own 'two paise' for non-conventional films(that was the first reason I went to see NS and not JWM), bu...t I feel Mr. Kashyap went on a journey in his creativity without taking the audience with him. It just looked like audience didnt have the ticket to board his train of creativity. (Caveat:These are just my opinions.)Read More

Well, there are some great movies, good movies and not so good movies. No Smoking falls in the fourth category, stay-away movies. If you are just a guy who looks for a good experience on a cool weekend, this definitely is not for you. Storyline is too complicated, twisted and at times just missi...Read more
