ashok, The 1.4 I understand would give 10 to 11. Considering your driving of 15kms per day, you could safely go for the petrol option. The economics would just not workout to justify a diesel. I would suggest you have a look at Punto before taking a decision on your Dzire. I feel if you dont have ...a need for a boot, the Punto could be a great car. Itwill beat the Dzire hollow on the looks department alone.This should be good enough reason And I havent even got into ride, handling and build. I did test drive the hyundai i20 and ther were 2 glaring points that dissapointed me. 1) Power - The vehicle lacks power. Its a heay vehicle and 80 ps is just not sufficient. 2) Tyre noise: This is really annoying. When I was driving the noise was so intruding that I thought maybe the windows wer...e not rolled up completely. I asked the Sales officer if there was something wrong with the car and he said no !.
