...about a decent bike. i use an 180 dtsi, though.

kinetic's got a terrible history of providing service to the vehicles they make. i used to use the original ki-hos, never had a problem. then bought a nova (first big mistake ever made) and repent it each time i use the scooter. the blaze looks good on paper and so do the reviews (professional an...d consumer). but in real life, after say 10kkm, i wouldn't trust a kinetic made product. sorry for the pessimism... just saying what i feel. good review, though!Read More

man... go ahead and buy an achiever / unicorn / whatever... while i totally agree with you on the matter of a single kick, all others are (in my humble personal opinion) parts of the bike's character. and i've done numerous long rides on this bike (i have a 180 dtsi nov'04) and haven't had any... problems with the seat. good luck with your quest!Read More

@pri20: inflatable life jackets are a must on every plane, barring the things that you fly yourself. somebody must have tried to pull a fast one on you... no worries! @ram_cv: well-written review - keep it up.

landings may be aborted at almost the last moment, due to instructions by the atc or when the pilot decides it's not safe to land. this one point is NO way to decide upon an airline's safety ratings... at the minimum, you may want to give the guy some good points for safety considering that he decid...ed it wasn't a very safe moment to land. again, punctuality is dependent on lots of other factors, including how crowded the airport is and so on... but anyway, i'm going to fly kingfisher tomorrow chn-blr and back, so i'll add my two cents too later. good review, otherwise.Read More

nope... doesn't work very well. i wouldn't suggest any sort of covering on the phone that covers more than the standard supplied case... see, it needs ventilation and all that. and what do you do when you have to do a hard reset (you'll get used to doing it, i guarantee)? this says that you've to... remove the battery for atleast 10seconds and then reboot the phone... you'll waste 20bucks everytime you do a cold lamination. cheers, yak.Read More

good review, though i don't totally agree with you on all points... see, i use a 7710 and have been totally happy with it. except for its size, of course... and the fact that it's not the strongest body around. keep yr reviews coming! cheers, yak.

just keep the [esc] key pressed for 5 seconds, and it closes all apps except Desk and Telephone. will get around to writing my own review of this superb phone soon :) good one, sridhar.

yo! is this a review of the bike or of rto's in various parts of the country? and since you're on the topic of rto's, why have you given the bike a 1star rating? any justifications? cheers, yak.

too bad about your problems, but i have an 180 dtsi since nov'04, have run it just over 6,500km, and am absolutely happy with it. yep - gears don't work the way they should, lights are pathetic, and it *does* have starting trouble after more than a couple days' stoppage... but what the hell, the ...kick it gives me is worth a lot more than all these... 3 round bangalore-chennai trips, all solo, and one more huge 700km trip this weekend... naah, who cares about little gear problems? cheers, yak.Read More

do you call this a review, or just a misduiged, mental rant? my friend, you've got a lot to learn about writing reviews - the first of them probably being - don't write any. good luck, and next time come with usable information. cheers, yak.

people: i have a nov'04 180 dtsi, and it's loads better than the newer mag-wheel one... if you don't know or don't like this statement, why don't you try out both bikes first? the only advantage i see in the new dtsi's is the gas shocks - in which i disagree with adrenofx... they are simply super...b. been too lazy to write my own review, you see... cheers, yak.Read More

arun: this is one of the best documents i've read on ms... not so much about the hercules itself as it is about cycling as an art form... cheers! i own a hercules topgear ez delux too (the 18-gear one), and agree with almost every sentiment you've made. sridhar. ps: both the ti cycles links... don't work... could you update these if possible?Read More

cyrus... you need a license before you ride any vehicle. that's not a safety regulation - that's a mandatory legal regulation. nice comments in your review - keep it up! cheers, sridhar.

abhijit: your idling rpm looks normal to me - i have a new p180 dtsi, and it idles very comfortably well @ around 1000rpm - whether first start in the morning, or after a continuous 300km ride. cheers! yak.
