I would definitely NR you as a co-passenger if I were that guy whos knees you nearly broke :-) So what you do now a days besides tasting Hyderabadi Biryani, Flying JA & changing tyres? :-) And before I forget it... your review was well as Cheeky as ever. Reminded me of Vijay recommending V...eeru to Mausi... for the obvious reasons. Chalo... waiting for Airport -II now. I know it will follow soon as 'Tips on changing tyres in a pouring rain' ;-) Love, Vivek The real cheeky comment : The 'Chariots of Fire'... are they by any chance 'Golden'? Read More

The hostel life is the best life... may be the best times anyone can possibly ever have. Those old jeans may be old, torn & decrepit... but how can we forget them... or those Deepa Sharmas? ;-) Vivek

I am not surprised that the topic 'Camping' is placed under 'Stock Market & Brokers', given half your review deals with 'Bears' and how to avoid them ;-) Did you meet any 'Bulls' btw? :)) Ok.... enough PJing. I am thrilled to read the first review which doesn't attempt to parrot what Taran Adarsh wrote! Otherwise almost all reviews repeat the same story what TA wrote albeit in different wordings & phrases. First time I read someone writing his own real opinions. Now that's what I respect about ...you. So independent... and that's why so dependable :-) Vivek Read More

My thoughts were also the same after watching MD - what the f? I think the f is what this movie is all about. Some sleazy scenes thrown in to market an otherwise unmarketable movie. More of the type that gets shown on HOTNET if it was not for David Lynch and his pretense of Dream/Illusion/Frus...tration... whatever. I think some movies are shot just for the heck of it... to satisfy a directors ego, more than anything else. This movie definitely is one of them. Prasad, There is no excuse. Watch it ASAP. Fatcats cannot afford to miss Garfield. It is not that bad. Garfy is animated & doesn't look a bit like the Cartoon Strip. But what the heck, he is fatter! The other characters are just passe & the story is also cliched. Seriously don't... know how otherwise could Garfy have been made into a movie - as it's shown in the cartoon strips. Any comparison of crispy humour of the strips to an hour & half long movie is a blasphemy! I watched it with my wife. She liked it too. But we liked 'Shrek-2' better. May be you can just watch it once just for Garfy? :-) Ok... enough about the real 'Fatcat' that you missed. Haven't seen this one. May be catch it on Video/DVD. Right now I am waiting to watch 'Spidey' :-) Your friendly neighborhood... Vivek PS : Psst... CZJ is size 8 did ya say? So is it worth watching? ;-) Read More

Prem : Don't miss any episodes from now on. But sadly you have already missed a lot. So beg, borrow or steal the video recordings/VCDs from another Babuji fan or wait for the re-runs. Karann: It doesn't require any machismo. All that it takes is boriyat :-D Unfortunately Mansha has ended &...amp; I don't watch Lavanya! Kitti Party... hmmm that's the next on my hit-list :-D Fayaz : Babuji's no longer paralyzed! that means only half the fun remains in watching this serial... Anyway anything for Babujis sake. :-) Thanks, VivekRead More

Balaji : Babuji does not take any help from God. He takes help only from RimJihim :-) Suyog : I guess I wrote the review a bit early. The episodes have been getting better & beter ever since... like AN carrying a baby in his paralyzed arm while getting himself carried by 2 people! This ser...ial rocks :-)) Fatcat : So you confess you watch PKG too, huh? Get 'dished' soon & join Babuji fans club Ravi///// : I did not know they don't show this show in your house. They show this serial daily in Canada ;-) Swati : I was inspired to write this rev, after reading yours. Anything for Babuji & RimJhim. RJois : So you see RJs is ruling the small screen too. Watch this other RJs serial & write a rev ASAP ( I mean after HM & dust settling down :-P) Rad///// : It was nice to read your comments. This soap is shown daily on Victoria. Since you are in Bhatinda may be you don't get the cheese there... you know cheese has cows milk in it & you don't have cows in Bhatinda :)) Read More

Prasad, Finally managed to watch it on DVD. And you're right man. It's just awesome. Loved the high-sea action & Galapagos island - it was just divine. Great movie. Great Review... what more can be said Master? Have you read any of the Peter O'Brian books? There are 20 of them! Vi...vek PS : Did you watch Garfield? It was just awesome!Read More

I liked this movie very much. So different from an average Bollywood flick. Complete with a different way of telling a story from different angles, the techno-music etc. Well.. it was different. But for the very same reasons my wife disliked/hated it! But I think there is a middle-ground where... all can agree that AB acted well. I feel he was better than his earlier flicks but nothing pathbreaking. Nice rev. Keep it up VivekRead More

... instead of Babuji, Sasurjis, Bhabhijis & Bahus these days. Vijay Raaz isn't he the same dude who played ABs side-kick in Yuva? He was quite atrocious in 'Run'! (yes... I confess I have watched it too) Must watch this one soon! ( I hope it gets release on VCD here). At least for the Spo...of 'Dard Ka Rishta' if for nothing else. Neeta-Reshma paradox is so real. I read sometimes back that the 'Adarsh Pativrata Stree' Tulsi ( Smriti Irani) of KSBKBT got married to her already married producer (or director?) The reel-life & real-life are so different! Nice rev. Keep writing. VivekRead More

Before I end, I have an earnest request to the makers of this serial (if they care to read my review). Please let RJ have a pet-dog Moti before you put her life to jeopardy the next time. Before the platic-surgeried RJ makes a return, I would like Babuji to go - ' Moti... tujhe Khaana kilaanewal...i ab iss duniya mein nahi rahee'. He is such a natural-born dog-informer of bad news... especially the demise of the lady that feeds it. Please give the old-chap a chance to show his potent talent. Another must watch show for die-hard Aloknath & RimJhim fans. For others... Anacin HainaRead More

Like all TV serial Ghars (houses) these day, this love-nest too comes with it's package of over-staying relatives, guests & workers too. There are two more daughter-in-laws besides RJ. One the daughter of an ex-minister who gives a tough competition to AN in putting-on weight as the serial pr...ogresses at a snails pace. She also keeps picking up quarrels with the eldest daughter-in-law who of-late has been under-going psychological treatment after a miscarriage (this serial has one too many psychos!) Then is also this widowed sister-in-law who holds a permanent resident permit in Babujis house, besides a widowed sister of Babuji, the abandoned wife of Kans Mama and a couple more. Babujis Ghar is a real 'Naari Niketan' (shelter for homeless ladies) in that respect. And finally there are 2 most obnoxious pest... the workers - Pandit Maharaj & Khan chacha who run all sorts of errands in this house. These two characters are let loose to kill time whenever the story writer runs out of ideas & gets busy watching the K-serials to steal another cliched idea! Between the two of them they can give Johnny Lever a bad head-ache. Read More

Considering this house houses a full family of 20-30 members (I have lost count). It is hardly anybodys love-nest. Besides RJs hubby Avinash is more of a guest actor in this serial, making brief appearances once in 3-4 episodes. I even remember him once going on a vacation for some 30-40 episodes. I...t is RJ & Babuji who hog most of the screen time. It could well have been called 'Babuji ka Ghar'. But that's besides the point.Read More

So you got a dish connection. Welcome to Aruna/Ekta serial watchers club! This Guruma is really a character (played by Sudha 'Romola Sikhand' Chandran). Sadly this character seems to have been discontinued (at least for now). Vivek

Suyog : I know you are a loyal Aroona-serial-watcher like me ;-). 'Hum Sab Baarathi' - where do I have time to watch it? 2-3 hours of my day get spent watching - Astitva, Kitty Party, Tum Bin Jaoon Kahaan, Lip Stick, Piya ka ghar. Where do I have time for one more? Muks : I guess it's both. Th...ese serials are are so enjoyable... but sometimes they also give me a nasty head-ache (when things get over-stretched & totally over the top) Balagi : The serial is recco for those who watch it for the laughs... Veena : May be it is sometimes... but the recent episode of Kushi speaking Tamil... Come on we have been hearing about Muskaans mastery of Tamil from all & sundry for 2-3 episodes... and when Kushi actually does it, it was like... > why did it take so long?? Sajju : No, I never will... :-). It is so much mad-cap fun. RJ : Hota hain... hota hain... Aroonajis serials are so damn addictive :-) Spooks : You can order them over the internet from Canada...hehehe Swati : Now you are missing something...hehehe :-) Ravi : Good to know you are keeping off Ektas & Arunas. But then you are still a bachelor... aren't you? :-D Prem : I keep watching Piya ka Ghar... (how can I ever miss any serial starring AN? :-D) Lekhin Vatsa... I am waiting for the right conjunction of Stars & planets to post the review :-D... Kuch honewala hai... bahut jald hi koi review chapnewali hain... lol Thank you all.. Tum Sab ke bina Jaoon Kahan?
