Get your car checked. Do you feel the turbo getting charged at about 2000 rpm? I was owning a swift vdi and never had such a problem nor heard any.. Diesel swifts are in demand just cos the engine. So get your vehicle checked. Hope you are filling diesel from a reliable bunk. Have a tab on bunks too.... And not to forget get your 4th year warranty before you cross 40000 km (assuming you already have an xtn’ed warranty).Read More

It's like the fox and the sour grapes story or may be you are a Skoda dealer trying to spread false information. Ravi, very useful review thanks. I've been following all Linea reviews on Team-BHP. Linea no doubt is the best car available in this segment. I own Fox Torte Azure diesel Emo pack bought from Concord Hosur road. Presales (dealer exp) was pathetic but got lot of accessories free in return to the hard...ship. Service (A.S.S), fantastic thanks to Tata motor's Concord in Bangalore and TAFE in CBE. There were instances when mechanics had come home traveling 30 km from Kudullu gate, Hosur road to rectify hood and tail lamp problem. All in all am really happy for choosing Linea. This vehicle is no doubt value for money.Read More

Here is some one comparing SX4 with Linea. It's like comparing a Zeppelin with 737. SX4 is just bundle of metal and cheap plastics fixed together. Unless you have a decent car deck you will never enjoy the drive. Rattle snake would shy. And there is some one talking about the features offered by SX4.... On the service/maintenance front i dont agree with you Yogesh. Fiat vehicles have long service intervals which means less service center visits and maintenance is really low compared to any other vehicle in its segment. How many times have you serviced your vehicle and how much did you spend on each... visit? I own a diesel Linea and have had no issues with maintenance. This vehicle is VFM.Read More

I have a diesel emo pack linea and i have never faced any problems with my alloy wheels (touch wood :) ). Never heard any one talking about alloy wheel problems. Sad that you had to change your alloys and yeah linea alloys are costly. Well i too get 25-27 on highways under 2000 rpm with ac on. Linea... no doubt is the best in its class. He is on of the senior most person in service and customer relationship dept, in Fiat. Engines are part warranty. Please read you warranty manua...l and hope you have the extended warranty. Fiat engines are time tested and proven and are in great demand. You will find these engines in Maruti swift, desire, rits, in Tata vista. Fiat sells more engines than Lineas, Puntos or Palios. How could such a company have a faulty engine and wouldn't agree to replace them. I can't buy your story. When you have problems with ABS why take your vehicle again to the same dealer. ABS motors, as known is out to tarnish Fiat's reputation. Please send a strong mail about your experience with ABS motors to Fiat motors and am sure they will take action.Read More

Did you talk to Fiat? They should help you. Between didn't you do your PDI? This is were most of us fail. We just fix a time and when we go for taking the vehicle home we just scan though the interior and exterior not really looking at all other major point which we should have done in the PDI. Well..., talk to this guy Mangesh - 9923752425, mail - mangesh.kodalkar@fiapl.com. He may be of some help to you. Do the PDI your self in sunlight. You will find all dents, color diff or any other problem if any and test drive the vehicle before the vehicle is registered. You can get the PDI check list on team bhp.Read More

I own a Diesel Linea and have never faced issues mentioned above. I admit the dealers spoil the show. Wish Fiat had their own Sales and A.S.S. Well Fiat cares its customers. I have had Maruti and Hyundai vehicles but never does any of these companies lend their ears to pour in your complains. Fiat i...s always open swift in action and the further follow ups. I have friends who own petrol Linea and never have i heard them complain. May be there is a faulty AC system in your vehicle. Did you talk to fiat people. Here is a number of a top management guy in Fiat who looks in CR and guess is past of service. Call him mail him you will see the diff. Mangesh - 9923752425 email mangesh.kodalkar@fiapl.com. Trust me no other car companies responds like Fiat and Tata spoils it. About the mileage check your driving style. If your vehicle is new let it settle. There is run in period but still let the vehicle couple of km you will deff see the diff. There are few friends who have got nearly 20 km with petrol engine on Bangalore Chennai highway. Hi Great20, I own a Diesel Linea Emotion pack and I'm really happy with the AC’s performance. My friend who owns a Diesel Linea E Pack too had faced similar issue with AC but was attend to in no time. He says the cooling is better now. Did you talk to Mangesh, if not please do talk to him. I agree with Arun. Marathalli minerals is only interested in selling but not servicing. Never trust these guys. Never buy any products from Marathalli minerals. Their service is pathetic and they never keep up their word. Why is kent backed by people like Rajendran?
