Year 2000-2004 : I had admitted my son to this school in Mont-2, teachers were good, they were active and children enjoyed the school time. Year 2004-2008 : The degradation happened by poaching of good teachers by 'elite' schools around Bangalore, teachers left for mere 5K hike in salary and ...Read more

Hey Guys, I am really depressed today, as for the third time the liquid coolant of my NS has vanished. I noticed it only today but I guess its vanished a week ago. Last time the SVC guys replaced a certain O-ring of the coolant pipe from where it was leaking. But now again this happened. This tim...e I can't even see the leaked fluid anywhere on the engine parts (earlier whenever the coolant is leaked it left rusty spots on all over the engine). I don't know whether its evaporated or leaked this time. But strangely, having no coolant at all didn't really made any difference on the engine heating. It was all normal and that's why I didn't notice it. Even the fan wouldn't run any more frequently that it was earlier. The fuel efficinecy it hampered by more than 15% though. One thing I observed that for all the three times the coolant was vanished, it was right after when I ripped (80-100) my NS on highway for about 30-40 kms. But the SVC guys say that shouldn't be the cause. I don't know what the hell is wrong. There are other bunch of issues with the bike and I am really fed up with it. Riding NS is no more fun. I hope this issue will be sorted out. Anyone had such issue?? Any help/suggestion would be appreciated...Read More

I don't know how many times this has been posted here, but the triple spark was due to a very big bore which could not be covered by 2 spark plugs and 3 were needed for complete combustion of fuel. dont know whats wrong but my engine is super rough nowadays and a very strange problem is that my engine speed has increased for the same vehicle speed.... it was earlier 62kmph at 4k rpm... now its 56-57kmph at 4k it was at ditto 6k rpm at 90kmph and now at 90 its 6250rpm it was 6650 rpm at 100km...ph earlier and now its over 7k... what could be the goddamn issue? my engine had once been opened up on the clutch side, clutch and pressure plates washed thoroughly in kerosene and then re-fitted back using a new clutch side gasket.... need help asap...engine feels so strained at any speed... and my front brake to lost it's bite...its been like that from around 3k on the odo... pad still have life left and the brakes make a khash khash sound as if two metals are rubbing against each other when applied... brakes have become spongy with no feel whatsoever... tried everything possible i.e. cleaning pads and disc with disc cleaner, rubbing pads, bleeding the line and everything.... no improovement... please help... my brake disc was changed under under warranty once coz it was bent.... and i need to know the cost of the front brake pads for ns...is it different than 220?Read More

Hi People, Here's my two bits after nearly 5 Months of ownership and about 5300 kms. Am I the kazillionth person to say that I am totally in love with the Bumblebee? Its been a strange relationship and one that has become sweeter as the days have passed. You can ask anyone about its looks and... they'll go gaga over it...so did I, but after purchasing the bike I wasnt too happy with the vibes and a few niggles that came along the way. I dont know if the vibes have subsided or I've become immune to em. Its like being in a relationship. You start to understand and accept the flaws of your partner and often look at the sunny side of things. So am I disappointed with the bike? ...its a RESOUNDING NO!! Its a cracker of a machine and if any one reading this wants to go for it...well.....eyes closed...just do it! Here are a few good and not so good things about this enigmatic machine.... Negatives : Handling: Having taut (read sporty) suspension is a boon but can also be a bane and quite a hit on your family jewels!! Pothole paraders beware!! Electronic: Horn is not fit for the highway. Its like the Great Khali having the voice of Sharmila Tagore The fuel indicator is possessed....Turn indicator switch can be a pain esp for ones not blessed with long fingers. Mileage: Aah...the question...kitna deti hai?? Apparently my bike is a lil hungry...it returns about 35-37kmph (even with sane riding - city) Niggles: Irritating noises from the left side of the handlebar and left fork side, both still not sorted even after 2 services (I am now in ignore mode). Choke lever is dysfunctional and as usual Bajaj guys dont have the stock!! AND THE MOST IRRITATNG NIGGLE: THE BAJAJ SERVICE CENTRE....either you dont get appointments or they are short staffed!! Either ways..the bike suffers Verdict : Don't buy itRead More

Well specifically speaking for NS..rich mixture does give better low end but a not so good top end...and a lean mixture gives an OK OK low end and a very good top end from my general Knowledge lean mixture causes over heating...cold start problem...little under powered...and gives more mileage. ... rich mixture is better considering its not too rich otherwise u end up with black exhaust gasses and poor pick up... lean mixture gives a bad cold start and so u have to use choke which essentially chokes the engine..that is floods it with petrol so u get a rich mixture and the bike starts....but a rich mixture will cold start better than lean....search the internet and xbhp..there is information everywhere...Read More

Guys is there anything I can do to fix a flat spot between under 5k RPM ? It's clearly felt in 4-5k.. even over 5k I believe. It feels exactly like when you run out of petrol & engine runs on fumes.. So I'm having to keep my engine over 6k RPM for a smooth ride. It's like the low end is completely d...ead & messed up.. I don't feel like taking it to SVC just for this, any tips ?Read More

I have a problem with my Honda unicorn the bike. The bike starts but the moment I accelerate the engine stops. In the rainy season, this gets worst. Some time during travel if I change the gears the moment I leave the clutch the engine stops and jump-starts. The service center does not seem to have ...an answer to the problem. I have tried changing the spark plug, cleaning the tank, cleaning the carburetor, changing the diaphragm in the carburetor. Engine de-carb. Nothing seams to work. The worst thing is the problem is not consistent. Does not happen all the time, which makes me look like a fool at the service center.Read More

Dear Sir, I m Anand Suri from aligarh u.p. i hve bought my unicorn in 2006 from R.S.honda. From the very 1st day my bike had started giving me troubles. Only after couple of weeks my bikes handle started jamming and the balance was also not equal. I made it changed but the centre hadn't changed it ...and was charged. Again after few weeks it stated giving me troubles. Again they charged me but this time i don't knw they have changed or not. But my problem is not solved till now. They don't have a gud attitude towards customers they show a very rude attitude towards us. At last i m just fed up of the service provided by the honda bikes. The service is just like a DAMM SihT they don't even look over customers problems instead they charge us fees, what for? At the last i just want my bike to get good any how. If this time i'll be ignored then i would only have the consumer's forum option. But i want my bike to be fixed as soon as possible. thank you.Read More

Paid up review to cause brain wash even among educated people. Not long ago we saw great reviews on Pulsar 220, where are these bikes in junkyard ? What does triple spark does ? Does it burn air fuel mixture or burn concrete to ash ? Bajaj uses cheap methods to promote their products
