As you said it is a anticipated whole life plan(maturity at 85 or death) It is a money back plan(every four years if your premium paying term is 16 years) 1st - 3rd money back yo...u get 20% of your sum assured(sa) ex: 20,000 in case of 1 lac sumassured 4th money back you get 40% '' '' 40,000 in case of '' '' Maturity Calculation as per company's brochure: Additional Sum Assured(ex: 1 lac) simple re visionary bonus 7.5% * Sum assured 1 lac * no. of years in the system(ex: 55) 7500*55= 4,12,500 Terminal Bonus(which is applicable for customers who are in the system for more than 25 years) 5% to sum assured 1 lac * 30 years 1,50,000 so your overall returns would be SA 1lac+SRB 4,12,500 + 1,50,000 = 6,62,500 This is just an example if your age is 30 and your premium is 10,000 per year, this returns will vary on unfortunate conditions for the customer.
