Even I want my money back. I just wasted 300 bucks on this nonsense … The movie is absolutely ridiculous and I don’t know good comedians like Rajpal Yadav and Paresh Raval agreed to work on this script … A total disaster … a total wastage of time and money

I am using Nova 135 for the last ten month and it has done more than 8000 Kms. The scooter has not given me any problems which are not normal. It is also giving me a mileage of 50 Km/Pl I think you got a hit on a jinxed piece.

Probably you need to take your Nova to a good service center. I purchased a Nova 7 month back and I agree that Nova has a bad headlight and also a bad front suspension. I have also faced the problem of scooter’s engine turning off while waiting at red light or while driving in slow moving traf...fic. Just get the idling speed set at a bit higher level. Which lamp you used for replacement? What was its wattage rating? I also would like to communicate it to all Nova lovers that in Delhi I am not at all satisfied by the service provided by Kinetic dealers. I guess kinetic has low sales volume in this region and all the dealers are in a financial lurch. That’s why they are not in a position to hire good staff and provide better service. Nova is an excellent vehicle but I am not happy with my purchase due to service problems. Regards, Vikas Read More

I have traveled by all airlines flying in India and would like to share that I never had a really bad experience with Air Sahara I don’t think it is considerable different from any other airline in India apart from the fact that they always have minor slippages on the timelines. I have flown m...ore than 30 times including remote sectors such as Dibrugarh etc. I really empathize with you. I think you should have made a huge complaint against the crew; you could also have challenged it in consumer court. Anyways ... better luck next time... Regards, Vikas Read More

You review suggests the extent to which things go wrong in our country. Actually there’s no accountability. For a similar thing happening in US, the manufacturer has to pay through his nose. Please accept my sympathy on this. I think here the Whirlpool India is not exactly at the fault.... I think they have outsourced these services to some agency (agencies). I am working in service industry and my experience is that ant process which is outsourced experiences deterioration in quality. Unfortunately Whirlpool India appears to be sleeping on this matter or probably has not designed any mechanism to evaluate the performance of their service providers. Regards, VikasRead More

Hi Dharani, I agree with you. For all those who are still not convinced by this review, please read the Feb-2005 edition of Auto India which has a 1 to 1 comparision of Pulsar 150 DTSI and Honda Unicorn. Pulsar is the best! Cheers! Vikas

I do not agree with you on the pickup, I have test driven both the scooters and I own a Nova 135 now. Nova has a better pickup than Activa. Nice review. Regards, Vikas

Hi, I have purchased my Nova on 23rd Feb. 2005. It has done almost 700 Kms now. My scooter is also giving a mileage of 50 + Kmpl, and the first service (which is shortly due) has not been done so far. As far as getting a high mileage with a new scooter is concerned, I don't think that is a ba...d sign for the health of it, at least for the four stroke scooters / motorcycles. I agree this is true with the 2 stroke scooters in which the lubrication of the piston / cylinder is done with the 2% 2T oil mixed in the petrol. In this case if a 2 stroke scooter gives higher mileage that means the scooter engine is running more Kilometers with same amount of petrol (or The engine is running more with same amount of 2T oil as the quantity of 2T oil is 2% of the petrol quantity). This leads to reduction in the lubrication level of piston / cylinder and especially during running in period this is not considered to be good. This is the reason that if you look in the user manuals of older scooters, it was recommended to add 3% of 2T oil to petrol during the running in period. In case of Nova, the piston lubrication is of altogether different. There’s an oil sump under the piston / cylinder and the 20W40 grade engine oil is filled in that sump. Lubrication of the piston / cylinder is done by splash of oil being thrown in the cylinder by the crankshaft bearings. (This is not specified by Kinetic in their but this is the standard way by which the lubrication is done in a 4 stroke engine.) This means that the lubrication of the cylinder is no more dependent on the amount of petrol being burnt in it but it is dependent speed of the engine. So I think getting a high mileage from you new Nova is not bad, It’s Good!!! Regards, Vikas Read More

It’s true that some of the people from Auto India moved to Auto Car India but that doesn’t means that the Auto India was depending totally upon that team to publish their magazines. People keep on changing their companies but that doesn’t means that the companies they leave do ...not remain worthwhile. Have you never changed job? Did your previous company got shut? Seriously this was a sick review.Read More

During 1997-98 when I was studying at Chandigarh, going to the HM-2 was always like an ultimate feeling of contendness. After that I move to Mumbai and afterwards I traveled the whole India. Now when I go to Hot Millions, it’s not the best of the places around. Once I bought a Dosa there and y...ou know the guy gave me a dosa which was not freshly cooked but was lying under those 200 Watt lamps behind the service counter. And if you need to argue at such places for what has been served to you and what not then what is the difference between a Dhaba and a trendy high end restaurant of new generation? I do not recommend Hot Millions to people any more. I think the “Wah Dilli' at Sector -5 Panchkula is much better than this one. Read More

For all those pulsar haters ... I will ask only one question... Have you gone through the latest edition (Feb-2005) of Auto India? This edition compares Pulsar 150 & Unicorn and on an overall scale PULSAR 150 IS BETTER THAN UNICORN. Don’t believe me? See the magazine your self, it... costs Rs.25/- only And anyways ... the review was not at all a review ... It appeared more like a case of 'Neighbors Envy, Owners Pride' ... Hey has your neighbor purchased a Brand New Pulsar? :)) Read More
