there are no true fixed rate mortgages' in India available to public like in US. The fixed rate mortgages in India can be reset after 2 yrs.

I had the same problem since i bought the HP DV6646US laptop in 2007. Now it is working so so. The issue is HP first sells laptops and then slowly works on the correct drivers. You should always check for latest drivers for your laptop on HP support site. For 1 year i put a -1 version of the video d...river as the laptop was slowing down with the latest version of the graphics driver. HP has 30% defect rate for 3yrs usage.Read More

Do you have AMD processor with Nvidia graphics card? I have the same cobination and the screen gives up when ever it heats up. The solution is to keep the computer as cool as possible and try with driver uninstal to prev version.

I had gone without TV for 3 months, but the problem comes when parents or in-laws come to our house for a visit and they have no TV to watch their soaps. I hope you don't get a TV as it is like doing yoga, you will be more at peace than with a TV

Now a days mobile phone models are launched every day by every company, do you think they have enough time to spend on quality control and supplier quality, the best of companies will find it difficult. If your phone is not working throw it and buy another one, instead of wasting another 1000 and ru...nning around the service guys to get it back fixed. you would have spent 3000 in lost time and petrol.Read More

I think this is the best opening ceremony i have ever watched on TV. They have lit up the whole city. The artistic and technological canvas was huge. I understand your pain and the pain the RPO in Bangalore is putting us to. I had to get my passport renewed, my wife's passport transferred and spouse names added and also my daughters passport done in Jun2 2007. I spent 2 weeks just for this and used every dirty trick i can to get those passports d...one. Luckily i was not busy at that time. All that you said is true and i only hope i need not got there in another 10 years. Making my family stand in queue in sun and rain is horrible and i had to run around the xerox offices multiple time to satisfy those brainless, idiot officers. no citizen should go thru this. Ministry of external affairs launches so many schemes but basic human rights are not adhered in their offices. The office only serves the touts and counterfeit passport holders. I think india is the only country where you can get counterfeit passport faster than a genuine passport.Read More

I have to agree with you on the ladies, they only see the destination. They do not see if a bus is coming towards them or if a bullock cart is in front of them, they only see their destination. They only know two functions in the vehicle accelerator and sudden brake (not just brake). I am not saying... they are reckless drivers but somehow most of them drive that way. So when i am around a lady driving i slow down and not come in their path. Why trouble them and myself.
About learning driving from professionals, come on yaar every driving instructor in India is looking to get as much money from you and getting you a license, they are not interested to teach you driving. My wife got a 4 wheeler driving license without ever touching a car.Read More

$70 for a phone! HP is a consumer laptop that does not guarantee anything so you should have bought a Lenovo or Dell Vostro they are more reliable. But a laptop costs 1/2 of what it costs in India. So the risk might be worth it. I got a good one for $550. India the service is anyway pathetic for mos...t consumer laptops. So it does not make any difference.Read More

I did a move recently from a two bedroom second floor individual house with no lift to a three bedroom first floor house again with no lift and was extremely satified with the mover. I did the packing myself. The moving was taken care of the local truck guy. He did it in 2 hrs flat at the time i req...uested with no damages done to any of the articles.
