You can thank your stars if your consignment even arrives on time as a courier should. Just take the example First Flight takes a day to deliver a letter from Lucknow to Delhi ,DTDC takes three days .

You have been very lucky indeed. I did the same thing and also cancelled the membership within three days at the Ansal Plaza ,South Delhi centre. I was promised a refund in 30 days but it has been 5 months now and every time I am told that the refund will happen on the 10of next month. My case is almost identical. I took the membership and cancelled it within three days in December 2007 but I have been waiting till now to get my refund. It has been 5 motnths.The way club Mahindra treats you after it has taken your money is not funny. Your calls go unanswered and e mails never ackn...owledged. I have made several calls, faxed then, emailed them from the customer care officer to the zonal manager but nothing has happened.Every month I am given a new date next month for the refund.Compared to them even Govt.offices seem to run superefficeintly.
