Record Your Flight Memories Many of us travel a lot. But we seldom keep record of our travel – where we went, when, and how. Several years later much of what we did get erased from our memory.  But if we record our travel data, it would be easy for us to recollect our past travels. The log it...Read more

Dear Kalaka; I flew dozens of different airlines across the world. For sure Air India is the worst airline I flew. In 2005, I was bringing back a close relative from Singapore after a major brain surgery there. I was holding a business class ticket. Three days before the departure I requested the ...airline in writing to provide a wheel chair stating the reasons because they wanted such a written request which was unusual. Yet, when I reached the airport there was no wheel chair; they did not provide one. They said they cannot! I was upset. Some Singapore airways employees saw my situation and helped me. They wheel chaired the recovering patient to the lounge and then to Air India flight- what a shame. After that experience I never flew Air India/Indian; and will never if I have a choice. I hope you understood why people avoid this airline like plague. Read More

Dear anu007us: I am an experienced traveler, flew Singapore Airlines 72 times. I have never experienced the kind of horror you had experienced. The only twice did I miss my baggage; on both occasions on probably the best airlines in the world – Cathy Pacific and Singapore airlines. Both of the handl...ed the situation very well. Cathy sent the luggage to my hotel in an interior city in China on the next day. Singapore airlines lent my baggage to Hyderabad even though I reached Chennai on Singapore airlines flight with a letter of regrets. I understand your anguish – but these things do happen sometimes. Milind: I have the accord and camry on my short list. But the trim of camry for it V2.4 model is better than any of the accord's comparable models. I found your review useful. Regards VBT

Times of India led this race down hill. Hindustan Time is also in the same league. Both of them have forgotten their social responsibilities and are trying to promote decadent culture in the country. The only way to stop them is stop buying these two news papers. The Hindu is one the papers that i...s still maintaining very high standards of journalism.Read More

The review has no structure, incoherent at places and, above all, the language used is extremely poor in grammar, syntax and spelling.

Maggie noodles are pure junk food, if they are loosing charm so be it; that will be good for our kids. In East Asia and South East Asia, many brands of noodles similar to Maggie are available and at a much lower cost. These are mostly patronized by the lower middle class while in our country Nestl...é has positioned this junk at the middle and upper middle class segment. With globalization, it will lose its charm, as the market get flooded by much cheaper brands. VBTRead More

IR is a rip-off. The quality of service is pathetic. Coaches are poorly engineered, horribly maintained and tickets are excessively priced. I avoid food on trains for another reason. The open shit-pots in our coaches in my view are a national disgrace-they turn all our railway stations into large ...open toilets. I avoid eating anything edible sold in Railway stations for they will be laced with fecal veneer—we take our food from home. It is time somebody filed a public interest litigation against the railways to force them to replace toilets with modern ones that don not discharge muck on railway tracks. VBTRead More

Six years ago I used to drive my friends Santro to my office after he got down at his office two days a week in the carpool arrangement. I agree with most of your points except the ground clearance. I thought it already had better ground clearance than Maruti 800. Even more ground clearance would ...have made the car look much taller and odd.Read More

A good review-logical and well argued. I agree, people seem to ignore scientific reasoning on most matters and try out untested and unverified treatments/systems of medicine. Quacks proliferate in India due to poor governance and consumer ignorance. Partly, I blame the Indian Medical Association, ...they can have a program to get the quacks arrested just as the music industry in India has taken initiative to fight piracy. I have a couple of reviews on medical matters, I value your comments. VBTRead More

This one looks much better than the second generation CRV. The curved design seem to be the trend now. How can you compare Honda with Hyundai?

Arvind: I am not surprised. I did travel by this airline on a few occasions when I did not have an option. Their service and punctuality are not different from what we used to get from Indian Airlines before the field was opened up for private carriers. A low cost airline is supposed to take you fro...m point A to point B that is all – no frills. Of course they have to be punctual. Having said this, I would encourage you to write more details in your review – with a opening, a body with arguments and experiences encountered, and finally a conclusion or your views. You do it once, you will enjoy reading your own reviews. Good luck VBTRead More

A well written review: balanced, informative, and accurate. I also prefer travel by Godavari – but often difficult to get tickets from RJY – we therefore forced to go by Gautami which is also fairly well maintained.
