Thanks for the Info. :) I have around 900/- left in my a/c :( but this is a good lesson for me.. now on.. whatever DTH connection I take in future I wont recharge beyong one month..

well written review. Thanks for cautioning the people who are planning to migrate to horrible Airtel DTH. From past 2 weeks because of STB issues, I'm going through the horrors of Airtel DTH non-existent customer service. Airtel CC is the only Customer service in the world which lies to its ...customers.. after talking to around 20min, some CC executives dont even take the complaint and they lie to u that they have taken the complaint. I feel all Reliance products are like this. I used their telephone, Broadband and DTH.. Ohh.. trust me they all suck. Over the period of time I got rid of all Reliance products. Now I'm happy because I dont have to wait 30 min to speak to a customer care exec. Dump Reliance, Be Happy.. :)

I did not get what problem you faced with airtel..... But I can understand ur concern. I always had this question in my mind. when will Indian companies start giving service to their customers ? I think the problem is our population and we are considered backward(developing). These companies thi...nk, no one will bother to ask them service. Hope these freaks will learn in future that Indian customer is the smart and he’ll demand service for each and every product he purchases. Yesterday I was discussing with my friend that, Customer care(CC) in India has changed so much in last few years. 3-4 years back when we called CC to explain our grievance about the product, CC executives wud show some amount of empathy and escalate the issue to higher authorities or promise a call back from someone who can solve the issue. The call back promises were so true that we were getting calls after the duration told by CC executives. But now the scenario has changed. Now the CC executives will try to get rid of us if we talk more or talk with anger. Also they give false call back promises, which never happens. What they fail to understand is that our problems are because of the products sold by their company. I think this will be taught to them during trainings, that customers are like rats and dont take any complaint seriously. This has happened to me lot of times with reliance and vodafone. I’m waiting to see a change in Indian Customer care’s attitude towards its customers...... Read More
