About Me
Describing myself is a very daunting task for me b’coz I am still discovering myself. But I will give it a try.
Objectively introspecting myself, I would say I am a person with a passion for all good things in life which are not necessarily materialistic. I certainly try to live life to the fullest.
I make no bones of the person I am and I don’t conceal my rough edges. I have a strong sense of individuality. I like being me. Love me or leave me is my mantra. I usually don’t take things at face value. I have to be really convinced about the rationale behind something instead of blindly following the conventional.
I love my work. If I don’t, life will be drudgery. My job is a one of ensuring software quality. Therefore, I despise mediocrity in work. I strongly feel one has to reach his full potential since working below par is a cardinal sin for me. Even more importantly one should always strive to work in the area he is most passionate about without falling prey to the monetary enticements.
I like to work hard towards my goals. I like to plan my actions and act my plans. I don’t imply I am a terrific planner. But I am certainly working towards that.
I try to be the best in whatever I undertake which is a vice in itself because it can put undue pressure to perform. But I think its a price I have to pay to challenge myself and break my mental barriers. My penchant for perfection often sends me into overdrive and makes me a nervous-wreck. With time I have learnt to cope with that.
I try to be open, honest, and sincere with everyone I meet. I have a very few names on my enemy list.
I can be quite a moody person. Sometimes I feel I am very complex given the different shades of personalities I carry. But other times I feel I am very transparent and an open book. I really don’t know. I leave it to you all to decide.
Given my fickle disposition, I do get sucked into a bit of complacency. But thankfully it is short-lived. Doesn’t require a lot of effort to snap out of it and shirk off the laidback attitude.
I take time to break the ice in front of strangers. But with like-minded people I hit it off almost immediately. I like being with true friends and genuinely nice people and can go to any extent to help them. Most of the time, my heart rules over my mind as I have a highly emotional streak running in me.
I expect the person I am looking for to be very honest, down-to-earth and smart. I like being with open, friendly and warm people. Snobs are a big put off for me. I can’t stand them and I am surely not one of the them. A streak of intelligence goes a long way in projecting a radiant personality. Its what makes a beautiful person remain beautiful when they speak.

Interests
My interests change by the seasons. But a few which stood the test of time so far are:1: Books: Non-Fictional mostly. -->Most impactful book read: ’It’s not about the Bike’ by Lance Armstrong 2: Music: Rock, Blues, Jazz, Ghazals and Old Hindi film songs. Sing, play guitar and keyboards. Most impactful album:--> ’Hell Freezes Over’ by Eagles. 3: Writing: To me is therapeutic. Like writing to myself in a diary.--> Plan to write: A Travelogue 4: Watching documentaries: on Animal Planet, Discovery, History, Adventure and National Geographic Channels. Best Documentary-->: ’The Secrets of the ‘Da Vinci Code’ Current Passions:
Travelling, Photography and Bikes. -->Best Place travelled so far: Paris. -->Dream bike:Kawasaki Ninja
