First item to win a prize and get published was a small poem in The Statesman,Calcutta(In the Benji League)1964-65
Letters to the Editor and news items by me published in the Northern India Patrika,Allahabad in 1969-71.
Letters to the Editor and several Articles published in The Eastern Times,Cuttack,Orissa(Chief Editor-Late Dr.Harekrushna Mahatab)1969-1975

Did not join AFMC, Pune in 1968, for MBBS,even though in select list, as smells affected me badly.
Worked in the field of writing,editing,proof reading,publishing,rice research reports and publications, publicity and organising weekly wednesday seminars for scientists at Central Rice Research Institute,Cuttack (1972-75) while working as Technical Asstt.(not PA) to the Director.
Worked as Programme Executive,Akashvani,Ahmedabad(spoken word programmes(1975-76). Gave some talks,feature based programmes and took interviews.
Selected but not joined Indian Forest Service,1976(23rd All India Rank).
Indian Police Service ,1974(asked in UPSC interview board whether I would join as I was being selected-Said- No, as my temperament was different and I was interested in development.)

My concerns--Are you not concerned about environmental degradation/pollution?
Everyone should help in conservation of the environment, prevention of pollution,proper disposal of harmful substances,rubbish,garbage & gases,accumulating all around us.
Don’t we need another ’’Gandhi’’ or many ’’Gandhi’s’’ for a mass environment and cleaning movement?
For peace in the world and freedom from wars, we all have to shed our biases,prejudices and stereotype psychology and develop understanding of others and their way of life, upbringing,under what circumstances, region,culture and develop understanding of our basic oneness--as human beings-- beset with problems of living and earning one’s bread and taking care of one’s family,kith and kin.
I think I am a loving man and a vegetarian.
Motto--Let us Help ourselves and help others too on this huge space ship-- the Earth on which
we are all passengers in this world with limited life.
How do you become eternal? By Thinking and doing something Positive-Proactive.
