About Me
My friends opine that the one subject I can go on talking about is myself. Call me a self-obsessed freak if you wish, but I believe that I refer to the word I more often than I blink my eye. Er sorry, I didnt mean to sound as if Im singing Aaa Eeyee Aaa Aaa Oh The coldest day of the year was drawing to a close at 18, Privet Drive, er, no, I mean Daftarys Clinic, Juhu. My mother informs me that the day I was born was the coldest she has experienced in Bombay and I conclude that the fact that I am so astoundingly hot is the reason why the nip in the December air hasnt surfaced ever since. For proof of my hotness, check out my photograph. It wont kill you. And for any snide comments about my long hair, let me inform you that its my Tom Cruise look ... As you must have realised by now, I and films were made for each other. My life is like an overexaggerated Hindi movie - the only things missing are the background music and Swiss locales. I have some strong likes and dislikes when it comes to movies. Favourites include Shah Rukh Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Tom Hanks and Aamir Khan. When it comes to the drool factor, noone can beat Sushmita Sen and Kareena Kapoor. In fact, in true filmi fashion, I survived meningitis when I was less than a year old. The doctors had given up all hope and then bells rang and the background music began ... and I stirred. Since meningitis is supposed to affect, either fatally or irreversibly, ones brain, you now know why I am the nut I am, dont you? Music gets me going. Have just started to learn to play the guitar recently and the curvaceous, voluptuous six-string is my current belle. I do not stick to any particular genre - for I believe that there are only two kinds of music - good music and bad music. I prefer the former. I do freak out on certain singers though. Favourites include Pink Floyd, Dire Straits, Oasis, Bryan Adams, Kishore Kumar, Asha Bhosle, Sadhana Sargam, Lucky Ali and Shaan. However, someone who can beat all of them is yours truly. After all, my voice helps me to earn plenty of moolah - my next-door neighbour keeps throwing one-rupee coins through the window whenever I start croaking. Journalism has always been a future career option, and so has theatre. My ultimate ambition is to write my own book. All this, and I am studying engineering ... (First Year, IT) at T-REX. Er no, T-SEX. Oops, I guess I am getting a little confused, I meant T-SEC, also known as Thadomal Shahani Engineering College, the ultimate destination for all the papads on this blessed planet. Herewith, I sign off but am nikamma enough to reply if you M2M or mail me at nikamma1112@hotmail.com/raj_nikamma1112@ yahoo.com ... BREAKING NEWS: LALOO FOR NATIONAL ANIMAL!

Interests
I find MouthShut really confusing as it isnt mentioned which interests of mine to state - simple or compound. If one wants to know about simple interest, then it is given by the formula ... huh? No? This is not a Maths lecture? Well, talking about Maths, I do enjoy the world of numbers. In many ways, I believe mathematics is similar to writing. 10 simple digits can be used in different techniques to create a mind-boggling subject, while 26 letters can be arranged in different ways to give rise to literature. Theres something about writing which just gets my blood flowing, heart beating furiously, eyes shining, soul stirring, adrenaline rushing and, er no, I shouldnt sound like Arundhati Roy. Other interests are as predictable as the fact that the Virani parivaar cries once every five episodes - music, films, books and girls ... especially the last one. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= 06/09/2004 |
