About Me
About Me I am like a Book… interesting in some places, boring in some parts. Most people who try and read me give me the benefit of doubt. But, they can’t say for sure they understand me completely. I don’t blame them for that, it is indeed a difficult proposition to understand a Cancerian male with all his contradictory beliefs and assumptions. I’ve been trying to understand what I am and who I am ever since I learned how to use my grey cells and, though the exercise has been fruitful in many ways, I must admit the quest is still on. “Know Yourself,” is much easier said than done :-))
I am obsessed and preoccupied with observing at close range the one thing that concerns all of us – “Life.” The more I begin to understand it the more it confuses me. Every answer, every new understanding leads me to more questions, more doubts. But then, Life isn’t exactly a toddler’s Fairy Tale book. It just goes to show how excruciatingly difficult it is for us to decipher the designs of the Supreme Being. I believe that, though we have no control on our birth or death, Life is a journey and solely dependent on us as to how colourful and eventful we can make it for ourselves… and that gives me enough hope to live in this world.
Needless to mention, I am of a somewhat philosophical bent of mind and tend to look at things and events from that perspective. I believe, anger, envy, greed, and revenge are emotions that drain our positive energy and make us weak both emotionally and spiritually. Yet, to be without these emotions and to be able to lead a normal worldly life is the greatest challenge because each and every normal human being would have those chinks in his or her character. It’s sad to learn how much we as humans have degenerated over the years. Today, we rarely come across a human who is indeed what the word “human” stands for. But, why seek elsewhere what we can seek within? Ask ourselves one simple question… how much of a human being am I? An honest answer will give us a general idea of the world we live in.
A little more About Me:
I love browsing the Net for information and knowledge, hence I am not too keen on chatting.
I love sports, especially, watch and play outdoor games.
I love reading books, but of late don’t get much time to indulge in my favourite pastime.
I seldom watch TV, unless there’s a sports telecast on.
I prefer a good healthy conversation on any subject but lose interest if it is leads to arguments.
I am a romantic fool if ever there was one, but I presume that’s the best part of my persona.
I am an out and out Cancerian and trying to overcome my negative traits.
I love good old Hindi music but at the same time would lend an ear to anything that is soothing.
