First of all I must appreciate the amount of knowledge you have on Indian cinema. You really do possess an incredible passion for movies and are blessed with an extraordinary memory. I have not seen this movie Jazbaa yet, however I vaguely remember having watched Daag - the fire, and I don't think I... watched it completely.
As for Aishwarya, I still think she is very beautiful and I still think she cannot act well. She remains AIshwarya rai and doesn't become the character.
Exceptional review Mathur ji, very well written and very well scrutinized. Deserves a ROD.Read More

Great review Mathur ji. It is good to see you write reviews again. I have never seen this movie. It is also good to read about eminent personality like Sh Ravindra Jain and your tribute. Take care.

I am a motorcycle fan and a keen motorcycle rider, I started reading your review with a lot of expectations, however your review is more like an Ad or an anthem for Harley Davidson. Would like to read your actual review of the motorcycle - How is the ride, handling, speed, comfort, etc.

Nice Work I will check it out, thanks for sharing the info. Congratulations for your book. History under your feet is a brilliant title. Imagine going to Kurukshetra - It could could be that where you stand was the exact place where Arjuna stood and listened to Gitopadesh by lord Krishna.

Syrians wants to live

INDIA HAS ENOUGH SKILL Sorry, but I agree to disagree. The Syrian refugees - have many developed nations to go to - like UAE, Saudi, Qatar etc, but they want to go to Germany, WHY ??. How can the German people trust that some extremists/fanatics don't sneak in with the refugees and later on cause ma...yhem??
And why should India bother about skilled refugees from Syria? Are you saying that we don't have skilled people in India from a population of 1.25 billion? I agree that we have bad politicians and we suffer from a terrible attitude problem, bad work culture, and an education system that needs an overhaul but I am sure there is no dearth of skill in India.Read More

Brilliant review, I wonder why it is not ROD yet. My friend just came back from Switzerland and he said he was mesmerized by its beauty. He too said that there were more tourists than local people. I guess tourism is the second biggest source of income for Switzerland, the first being India's Politi...cians. TC, keep writing.Read More

Pretty much every movie is trying to glorify the dastardly neighbor that we have. PK was the worst movie I ever saw. In comparison to PK, this Bajrangi was a better movie in my opinion. I would have although enjoyed watching our Indian hero beating up many more Pakis in the movie instead of the 3 od...d constables. Excellent review. Keep writing.Read More

Great review, Parathe wali gali in Old Delhi is very famous. I stopped indulging in street food after a terrible attack of Typhoid which almost killed me, so I have only seen the gali probably a million times when I walked the streets of Chandni Chowk. However I am sure they make very delicious para...thas. If I remember it right, someone on youtube asked the chef, why he fries the parathas?, the chef replied that, it is the only way to a speedy service for so many orders waiting.
I appreciate your review , brings back good memories. TC and congratulations for RODRead More

Of Dr 'Kamaal' and Karma !!
Jul 30, 2015 08:50 PM
Well I might be taking a bit of a tangent here. I am a big fan of Dr Kalam. We've had 13 presidents so far, Dr Kalam and 12 others. When I was in college my friends and I used to follow his work through news articles. We adored the man. I would say that he lived a grand life, and passed away doing w...hat he loved the most. One has to be a mahatma to achieve such an end. Although I too mourn his demise, at the same time I celebrate his wonderful life.Read More

Fantastic review and I am glad you enjoyed your trip. I would not want to chose Lord Shiva over Parvathi devi or vice-versa, however I would want to make a motorcycle trip to Ladakh from Delhi and back. Lets see what Lord Shiva has in store. TC

Great review, the point of the matter is, in US people are now turning to the traditional ways and have started eating healthier food prepared at home because - Brugers, fries and Soda have given cancer, Diabetes and a million other diseases that did not even exist 30 years ago. People who have been... meat eaters all their lives have become Vegetarians / Vegans and this switch-over has brought them better health, and even a dramatic decrease of cancer cells and reduction of blood sugar.Former President Bill Clinton is a Vegan - how bigger an endorsement does the world need?
The cruelty of the slaughter houses is unimaginable, I know Americans who became vegetarians/vegans after watching videos of cows/pigs being slaughtered by machines. Some even stay alive while the machine start grinding them.
King Corn is a fantastic documentary and Food Inc brought tears to my eyes. Supersize me, Vegucated, Fat -Sick and Nearly dead are great documentaries too.
Thanks for a wonderful and brave post to touch the delicate matter.Read More
