Great time at Rock Springs Cochin

review of country club rocksprings cochin this is my first day at this so called resort. the place is very far from cochin, no boat connections. On booking we were promised a studio with many facilities. What we got (manager says they are booked, even though we had booked about a month ago), was a s...hame of a room - bathroom door does not close, a/c does not cool/ does not remove moisture/ does not have de-odoriser, the furniture is all broken kind of, cobwebs in the room. Intercom supposedly is out of service, they do not even have insulated water jars and thus deliver water in old packaged water bottles or you purchase packaged water. The swimming pool is all green - you can't see the bottom. Have not tried their so called pond where paddle boating is available. No other way to do except stay in the room or play carrom/ chess. Looking at the earlier review, I think someone has been very lucky and I hope they continue to be lucky. We have been given a supposedly free acco (charged 3K for 6 days) - well this room what we got and the place that goes along with it is not more than 500 a night, that is, if you are ready to spend 500 or more (on an auto two-way) for travel from here to Cochin and back. Good that we did not become a member. We have heard that some other of their properties (including Gurgaon) are also in such sorry state.Read More
