I dont know how much average you are getting but in city condition with AC on sometime you should get 13 Km/L and on highways you should get around 16 Km/L. These figures are good if you are riding Getz 1.1, However if you have 1.3 then consider 11 Km/L in city and 14-15 Km/L on highway as good figu...res. Try not to exceed RPM meter beyond 2500 in gear change the gear once you reach 2500. In 5th gear try to ride at around 55 Km/h that should give you beast average. After every 35,000 Km there is one major servicing done. If it is not done in you case do that. It will bring the car to its stock condition.Read More

Here is the issue that I faced, I have posted it on xbhp. My issue got resolved next day and after that bike had superb run. I have done 300 KM long run in single day. If you go throug the xbhp forum you will know all the known issues and fixes. Bike was on stand all the day. In the evening I we...nt to the bike to start. Started the bike but with the big noise ( radiator also started to run with the bike! ) I felt something is wrong. I pressed the RED button to stop the bike but the noise continued so I turned off the key but noise continued!! Now I was bit panic! I turn on the key no change, I turn On the RED button, the bike started on its own without pressing the start button!! Now I was sure in trouble cause I cannot turn off the bike and get away... So I called the guy from Bajaj showroom. ( Luckily Yesterday I notedown his number!!! May be for this event!) I called him and explained him the situation. He said 'Sir, Can you drive bike to showroom?' I said 'I can'. He said 'please come I will check it and fix it.' So I started driving, Showroom is around 12KM from my house. On my way I noticed horn is not working. After around 6 KM, Low battery indicator started to blink. There was signal right after that, so I stopped at signal. Bike immediately was dead, no electrical were working. So I again called the Bajaj showroom guy. I explained him everything. SO he sent 2 guys, they took my bike and also said 'Sorry Sir!' and said tomorrow you will get your bike we will check what has gone wrong and will try to give it by 12 O clock.Read More

I read all the reviews on mouthshut, xbhp, team-bhp before buying Bajaj Pulsar 200NS. I was expecting issues to face. Except the faulty electronic component which stalled the bike on day 2 i have not faced any issue. Indeed I did long run of 300 KM in day with great confidence. I do not do sudden ac...celeration or sudden breaking and usually change gear at around 4000 RPM. I am getting consistent 44 Km/L fuel efficiency. Luckly I have always owned power bikes which needs little more care and my previous bike was Apache RTR 180 and to it comparison this bike is butter smooth. You can check my all comments on xbhp forum http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/members/tushargok.htmlRead More

Dude! Your 4th point in Cons.... is not correct please do not ride your bike with 3 persons. Bikes are made to drive with only 2 persons and it is not safe to drive with more than 2 persons and also it is illegal to do so.

Thank you for alerting us in advance. In recent times we have seen many online shopping sites have opened up. However its hard to trust and know their credibility. I always buy/sell on ebay.in and I have found it very reliable. Other than ebay I have good experience with flipkart.com .

I purchased this bike back in 2009 as soon as it was launched. It’s been 3 years since I am using this bike . Bike is not as smooth as Honda or Yamaha bikes. However I felt the bike does gives the raw power that every youngster searches. Twist the accelerator and instantly with a(jerk) bike star...Read more

I always wonder and feel that all bikes till 200CC needs a kick. I stongly feel that to remove the kick these bike manufactures get a hefty comission from battery manufactures. I remember using my old pulsar for almost 1 year after it shtopped button start yet the battery was enough powerful to ligh...t the indicators and horn. Ideally we should protest and avoid bikes that do not give kickstart so that manufactures will be forced back to put kick againRead More

@ashutoshagr2001: That is not true! I've used my bike now for almost 3 years. I only service my bike twice in a year for around 400/- Rs. In my all 4-5 servicing in last 3 years I dont remember I ever asked to fix anything. It all comes down to how you use your bike and the quality of the spares and... product. So far I can definitely say that TVS spare quality is top class, I have not seen them in compromising in quality at all. I'm getting a consistent average of around 43 KM/L in city and around 49 KM/L on highway. Looking at my driving style and speed that I maintain I feel this is a good average for its raw power.Read More

Thanks for sharing your views. So far I have seen pretty bad picture of VW. I'm aggressively looking for a new car to buy and so far my findings are only Maruti, Hyundai customers are happier than other brands.

So far I've not observed any vibrations but I have not exceeded speed limit of 60 KM. So there are not vibrations upto 60 KM for sure. My height is 5.10' and like I said in review new sitting position in Pulsar & Apache 180 is not so great. One needs to bend down and long rides could be painful is... what I think. However let me complete 1000 KM and then go for long ride of 250KM and I'll let everyone know.Read More

Sure! Starting from 1st gear to 5th gear change your gear right at 2000 RPM watch your RPM meter reading for that. Dont exceed RPM above 2500. Don't exceed your speed above 60 Km/hr in 5th Gear. Make sure you keep your left foot on dead pad after using clutch. On signals turn off the car if you are ...waiting for more than a minute cause in minute you can cover more than 1KM @ 60 speed. Avoid sudden accelerations. Also make sure you put a petrol always at fixed gas station where you feel is genuine petrol dealer. For that you need to make some observations on your own by filling petrol at various Gas stations and observe the fuel economy. NOTE: My 17 Km/Lit average is with AC turned off. I hope my tips help you.Read More
