Hiya!! For the first try, it is an extremely good and detailed review. My only suggestion is to have some white space between the points so that the readers can quickly scan and locate the information they are looking for. You could also highlight the main topics like Gears, Power Windows, Power... steering, etc. On the whole, superb :) Cheers! - Sajitha Read More

Well, I have not been very fond of this name either. The reason being, it has always been manipulated (right from primary schooling days). But now, I have started liking this name, specially because it is unique (specially in Maharashtra and in the North). Anyways, nice knowing you :) Sajit...haRead More

Hi Sajita, I totally agree with your choices here and you comments on Ash's beauty and acting talents as well! I feel Sukumari and KPAC Lalitha should the top of the list. They are awesome. Sad that Bollywood does not have such a large pool of talent, but they walk away with loads of awards. ... I loved Shobhana in Manichitratal. Read a few reviews by you and I am floored! Cheers! I was one of the winners of Oxford Bookstore MouthShut Book Review Contest for which I received a fit voucher worth Rs 500/. It tooks me a month to figure out their way of operation (thanks to Jasmine for helping me out). I have been in correspondence with them since July 2006. First they did no...t have the books I wanted. Finally we settled for 2 books (not my choice, but out of availability). Finally I recived one book in October mentioning that the other book is in a damaged condition and they would get another one for me. Its Feb 2007 and I have still not heard from them inspite of numerous reminders. - SajithaRead More

I totally agree with your opinion on Hritik and Aishwarya. The former at his best and the latter's at the rock bottom as always! She did look well-toned, but that does not make one an 'actor'. Cheers! - Sajitha

That's your opinion---there are others who think differently than you. I know a couple who are married, commited to each other, but have mutually chosen not to have offsprings. I also have heard of couples (friend's friends) who choose to adopt rather than have ther own kids. These days, we... also hear of live-in relationships, where in the couple believe that they don't have to be married to reproduce!! So these are all personal opinions. You can choose to believe and follow what you want to. It's like asking 'does god exist?' Some may say yes, some may say no, yet others may say that they believe in supernatural power (may be its God, may be not). Cheers! Sajitha Read More

Hi, A detailed review with loads of information. Though I totally agree with most of the aspects you have written, I would like to add that marriage is not just for reproduction! There is more ot it!! Cheers - sajitha

A nice review, backed by reasonings! I think the Malayalam film industry is desperately in need of better female actorsI Gone are the days or Urvashi, Shobana, and Manju Warrior. I have not even heard of Renuka Menon, Gopika, or Nithya Das! Cheers! Sajitha

A great review of a not so great so-called-actor. I don't like him either. Apart from murder, I have not seen any of his movies (nor Mallika-lacks-Shrafat's). He has an expressionless face. Cheers! Sajitha

Hi Varun, Kaavya first said: 'I am inspired by Megan McCafferty and hence there might be a reflection of her style in my book'. Later, when probbed, she said, 'I had borrowed the language from Megan McCafferty's books, but it was unintentional and unconscious.' How can borrowing be unintentio...nal and unconscious? Specially when the people have identified more than 10 identical paragraphs and about 30 paragaphs that are almost similar? Inspiration and borrowing are two different things altogether. The following examples are among the clearest parallels between 'How Opal Mehta .....' and two novels by Megan McCafferty: http://www.thecrimson.com/article.aspx?ref=512965 I am a writer myself (a technical writer to be precise) and we have to be extremely careful when borrowing ideas (even if they are not identical statements) and give the necessary credits! Thanks, SajithaRead More

Hi, Great review about the book! But, here I also want to highlight that the publishers are not hypocrites. Nor are they at fault! What Kavya has done is a classic case of plagiarism. According to the Webster's New World Dictionary, to plagiarize is to take the ideas, writings, etc. from anoth...er and pass them off as one's own. When you do this, you are committing a form of academic dishonesty. Plagiarism is a type of stealing and hence is an offense. In research and acadamic papers you have to give a list of references from where you found the information. These come under the heading of references or bibliography. In India, people have not been aware of this as a big problem and so, they may not see it as an offense. But in the Western countries plagiarism is a serious offense! Regards, SajithaRead More

Hi Sarvesh, If you have liked Alibag, I am sure you will just love Kashid. I have been to both the places and prefer Kashid over Alibag. Another reason why we bypassed Alibag to reach Kashid from Pune. From Alibaug, you will have to cross the Revadanda Bridge (which is perpendicular to the ro...ute mentioned and then take aright turn to reach Kashid. Cheers! SajithaRead More

Hi Abha, Nice to see your comment in here :) The beach is nice and clean, the water is cool and refreshing, the food is excellent, and if you get good accomodation, what else do you need for a relaxed holiday?
