Hey a nice inter-view......oops review indeed!!!!!! i too believe that RE should be more quality conscious.. not an year has passed and some parts of my bull too have started rusting!!!!!!! I am 5.7' and have not faced any problems as such.....lol.. don't even think of altering the chassis and... reducing the height it will really screw up with the balance of the machine! and trust me 'LEGENDS NEVER FADE..THEY JUST GO BACK IN TIME TO ERASE THE MISTAKES THEY HAD DONE.. OF COURSE WITH A MEDICINE NAME INNOVATION' Proof is RE TB Twin spark!!!!! Happy riding drive safe!Read More

Hey nice review indeed.. I have topped the speed limit upto 120Kmph on the bike...but the pleasure of driving this bull at a speed of 45 to 60Kmph with the classic thump tug tug tug tug synchronized with your own dhak dhak dhak dhak is something different and no one except a hardcore bullitier will ...understand it better!!!!!Read More

Well Well Well Srini... you are into Royal Business Baby!!... Really a good review. i agree with you on the fact of oil leakage.. but if your bull is using the Engine OIl to mark its territory then i really fear that one day you will have to trace the same way back to home pushing the bull!!!!!!!...!!!!!!!!!! Just kidding.. Please take care of the leakage business, because low level of oil will not only damage the moving parts, but will also make the engine run hotter................ Secondly, i do not agree with the statement that fitting the smaller silencer will create problems. I have fitter my bull with one and have also attached a Mud flap to enhance/amplify the thumping sound.. and believe me it really ROARS just like the old police bullets. Believe me or not.. one day i was wearing a Khaki Trouser, white shirt and Black police styled shoes and the traffic hawaldar really smiled at me and made a way for me in the traffic.......not bluffing, try it when you have the silencer work done!!!...no change in performance mileage or anything. One thing i would like to suggest when fitting with a smaller silencer, find one that is made in Indore and not in Chennai, it has a bigger sound effect.. I fitted with the Chennai one and i did not find any large thump increment from the initial long capsule one........ In today's era...... no bullet will give you the old classic thump.. not even the std. ones all come with the long silencer and you have to do some modifications to go back into the classic age! Also replace the headlight lamp with a Philips or a Phinolex(Named: Halonix) 40\45W bulb.. do it and you will come to know why i suggested! Well happy thumping and Royal riding!Read More

Hey, one of the reasons for smoke in the exhaust could be that more than the required amount of engine oil has been filled , that is propelling up the oil splinters into the combustion chamber causing incomplete combustion, leading to smoke in the exhaust. The other reason could be improper carburet...or setting... it should be a balance between appropriate amount of air and petrol. if petrol is set to high and the air to low, it can lead to improper pickup, high petrol consumption and also some times smoke in exhaust if the order is reversed, the, you may get a good mileage, but the engine will run DRY, lacking the amount of petrol needed and you may also have to sacrifice the tappets due to friction and overheating , hence the balance is required. If you experience misfiring problems too, then there may be water in petrol or, the ignition timing gear setting needs to be reconfigured. In such cases you may also face starting problems.Read More

Hi Bro, Sorry for the delayed response! Electra has got a cast iron engine. It is heavy, takes a long time to run-in , heats up early and dose not give a good pickup quickly after starting the engine.. it requires some time for the engine to warm up and only after that you would feel the power to... be increasing. The outer body of the engine tends to rust/ stain, since its made up of iron. Another gret problem of cast iron engine is that the engine may seize if proper cooling measures are not taken in long drives. Machismo has got an aluminium alloy engine, its tends to heat less (reducing the chances of engine seizure), no rusting, instant power delivery at the start itself... however requires warm up before the vehicle can be engaged into 1st gear... all bullets require this. Also the running in time is less. Regarding the gears humm.. No bullet has soft gears like 'makkhan' you need to require oush somewhat hard on the gear lever to change gears but in course of time, you will get used to it.. then see what fun happens when you drive some other bike!! There is not problem with the 5th gear. Top speed is around 120Kmph -max-. Engg. are ofcourse working on the bullet engines and have also come up with a twin spark engine and with all new technology... no decompression required. No time to time push rod adjustment all automatic hydraulic ones, twin spark engine with 380CC 20Bhp and a 28 Nm/kg torque at 3200 RPM!Gear box and the clutch box consolidated all together, leading to use on one standardized oil.... But then the FUN of bullet driving is all gone....No thumping sound, no hard gear shifts, no tappet noise, no engine seizure!!!!!!!!Read More

Dear , Would really suggest you to go for Hunk or Yamaha Gladiator.125 it is really a v. Good bike. If you want to cures your faith then you can go with XCD ('Exceed 'as it sounds) 125... there is nothing precious except reterding technology in that bike!!

Hi Aditya, Hope i am not too late in suggesting you some bikes that suit your requirement. As per my knowledge, HUNK is even better than CBZ Extreme.. not the old CBZ it was the ever best bike in that segment. however hunk would deliver you a mileage around 50 to 55 Kmpl. Do not go for passio...n. it neither has power nor mielage, instead go for splendor it delivers a good mileage at least! Apache RTR...... The TVS machines... Ha Ha.... just go through my review on Fiero F2 in the TVS section and you will yourself decide on not going with TVS machines. If you are Ok with the maintainance costs that these machines give Star City would be a good decision. even Fiero (of course if avaliable ) would be a good decision as compared with Apache if mileage is the consideration. Bajaj CT100 is v.good, if mileage is your basic consideration. My friend owns one and it gives a mileage of around 60to 70Kmpl after driving the bike at a speed of 55to 65 Kmph. He has this bike for at least 2 years -approx- and has faced no failures and heavy maintainance costs till date. HOPE MY COMMENTS HELP YOU. Read More

Let me tell you a real sad thing that i came across last Friday...... I met with a terrible accident on my Bull when i was on my way to Gym. Was standing at the signal to go green....at a cross road on Eastern express highway. As soon as the signal was green and the vehicles speeding across had stop...ped, I started driving, when suddenly from nowhere a SUMO came and hit me on the crash guard from Right. that silly ugly duck was speeding so much that, he broke the signal hit me and also did not wait to see what had happened and not even stopped at the toll Naka!! .the impact was so powerful that it spun me along with the bull at least 180 degreed on the road. I luckily escaped the accident with minor wrist sprain ans some impact on my elbow. Had it been some other bike (probably Fiero the one i owned earlier), i would have surely landed in hospital. Yes anyone can predict this if he sees the condition on the bullet after accident.. Following are the damages incurred. 1.Headlight damaged. 2.Taillight totally broken. 3.Front right mirror's shaft broken all the way from its fixture, leaving its base inside the handle. The broken mirror was thrown quiet away from the accident location. 4.Disk brakes master cylinder casing damaged. 5.Crash guard totally screwed up. As he had impacted from the right, the right side of the crash guard has totally bent inwards also changing the position on the left side. 6.There is a chance of a bend in chassis or suspensions, the Bearing Tee and am sure about the wheel out. Can you believe, even after taking so much damage and saving my life..(had almost touched heaven(yes thats the place where everybody would like to go after death!!!!!!)and come back), the bull started easily with no hassle. how ever while driving once can feel that it is going somewhere else even when the handle is straight..like a crab!!! lets see how much i have i have to spend to get it back into its original shape!! but i don't mind spending after all, it savRead More

Hi Dinesh, Kick starting this bike is not that hard. But for a few days till you get used to pump start 350CC you would find it difficult. From the first day itself, start the bike according to the procedure mentioned in my review. In few days you will get used to start the bike in a single kick.... To get more information, you may also read my review on TVS Fiero F2. HAPPY WRITING AND DRIVING!!Read More

Hi Sree, I think the mileage that this bull gives is more than enough. Have you noticed its power? its 350 CC, 18 Bhp, that gives a torque of around 25nm @ 5500 RPM Is that not incredible? At such an high torque, how can one expect more mileage? the mileage that this bike gives is more th...an efficient i suppose. By the way, my bike has just completed 450 Kms and it gave me a mileage of 40 Kmpl -approx-. It also depends in driving conditions and habits.Read More

Hi There, I myself went through my review again.. i found nowhere in the review that i have compared the bullet with any of the bikes except the line'Would recommend this bike for the ones who are starving for the real power.. not the zipping speed but the real locomotive power and do not find pr...oblems in spending some money on fuel and proper maintainance (of course every bike needs that, even the Hondas).' and that was to depict that not only enfields but also the 'no-maintainance' Hondas require a maintainance for proper operation. Taking second part of your comment into consideration, thats what i have mentioned in 'NOTE'. What say?Read More
