Dear : rangacuddapahsunku, Are you driving on Hosur road or Airport road with bumper to bumper traffic? I am not sure how will be the mileage in that condition.
I can share my experience. In my first Tank full to Empty I have got only 13 KMPL with mainly city drive in Kolkata. However after drivin...g for 1000 km the car got smoother (or I have got used to) and giving a milage above 15 KMPL. I did not do any highway drive yet. So please post your experience after drive at least 800 to 1000 KM. Rgds.

Thanks for your comment. I had tried formatting pendrive not only on FAT32 - default (4096) but also other sector size available with FAT32 as well (eg 1024, 2048, 8096 16193), . I even tried FAT16. But none of the formatting option worked for me. Please note I had tried not only in my... car but other FIGO ZXI as well in the work shop. There is one more gentleman came to work shop with the same problem. Every where we faced the same problem. All together We have about 5 different pen drive with us. All of them showing same problem with ALL Ford Figo ZXI music system.
However I could able to get a 6 year old 256 MB Pen drive. Only that pen drive is working fine with the system.
Moreover If you check the guide, it clearly mentioned that upto 8GB is recomened.Read More

Please try your pen drive with any other car music system available. You will not face any problem in playing. Then why Ford is offering a USB music system which works only upto 512 files (As per spec). Now if you think playing of only 4/5 songs with frequent breaks in sound is fine then I ...have nothing to say. Again if you want to listen 6th or 7th song in the list and while selecting the 7th song if you get USB ERROR then what will be your comment.

Can you please provide me the pen drive details i.e. makers name and model.
Please note I had already tried with the following make pen drive - Sandisk Cruser 4GB, Transent Jetflash 4 gb and 8 gb, HP v165W 4GB, Sony microvolt 4GB etc.
I had also tried with FAT32 with Sec...tor size as Default (i.e. 4096 bite), 8096, 1024, and 2048). l had also tried formatting to FAT16 and NTFS. Only FAT32 seems partially working with frequent breaks in sound and an 'USB ERROR' after playing it for 10 to 60 mins. However all of the above pendrive works fine with my other music system.
There are number of people have faced same problem. I have their's phone nos with me.
One more point, Ford mentioned that it is recommenced to use Ford Figo for 8GB or less USB 2.0 compatible drive. Still I tried use Transend 16 GB drive. But that one played only for few seconds and then showed USB error. So I never tried any more 16 GB pen drive.
