So its coming... standing like a big devil on the shores, staring down on India mainland. And its so heavy... and only vodafone has the exclusive rights to drag it to its stores. And to dangle it like a big orange(no, not orange... its red) carrot for its subscribers. But although its so big... its definetly going to make the guy who gets it lighter...by 28k. 28k all for "drool"... apple's only product till date... i mean ipods, ibook etc are just accesories to the great product called "drool" being sold by apple since ages. Huh... its the iPhone which is finally reaching Indian shores for 28k... for that touch screen phone. And why do I call it Devil... poor vodaphone users... they will never get a proper re-sale value when this drool becomes not so adorable months later. And why... because its locked... making it something similar to hi-end cdma sets. Offcourse you can unlock it... but be ready to loose out on many online features of the iphone And most importantly... what happens if there's battery problem... battery repalcement is not available in india... it is only done at apple in us... so unlocked ur phone.. now go hunt for a battery. But there is a greater fear which haunts me... will this vodafone and apple partnership bring in the trend of operator locked gsms in India! I am ready to recite the Lord's prayer 100 times right now but no, please no ... let us be free.

Ever had that Jason Bourne feeling... i had it when i realised that i'd forgotten not only my Mouthshut password but couldnt remember even the username!!! For months I kept visiting mouthshut... searched and read my only post over here again and again. And whenever my fingers itched to at least key in a quick comment I realised without account i was an outcast. And then today I realised comparing myself to Jason was something criminal... I was such a dumbo all this long, all I did today was to search for mouthshut in my gmail and got registration mail from mouthshut with d relevant nfos. And then logged in straight away. Huh...
