Hi all, first of all know that while switching on the induction stove it will work in a default mode. In our Bajaj Majesty ICX7 the default mode is HotPot at 210 degrees at 1600 WATTS. This mode is nearly equal to keeping the gas stove's burner in full flame. so any vessel you keep on the gas stov...e you always want to keep the burner in full flame initially and after some time you intervene to regulate the heat. In induction stove after leaving it in the default mode for sometime you can regulate it by pressing the - or + which controls the input wattage. And to put it in a sim, like a gas stove is a bit difficult in induction stove. to mimic a sim you need to put the induction stove in Stew mode which makes the stove to work in two breaks per second at 130 degrees at 800WATTS. you can see all your lights also blink accordingly( which i dislike). Also i doubt that using the stove in Stew mode for long reduces the life of the coil. well, this is only my doubt.Read More

boiling milk is the easiest thing to do with an induction stove. we are using Bajaj Majesty ICX7. 1.keep the vessel on the stove 2.switch on the stove and don't do anything. 3.because the default mode is HotPot at 210 degrees at 1600W. 4. in less than 3 minutes one litre of milk will come to b...oil. 5. when the milk started boiling switch over to Stew mode. this will make the stove to work in 2 breaks per second mimicking a sim level on the gas stove. you can remove the milk after a minute.Read More

/doing harsh word from the service center/..... hmmm... ask them to contact me...i will show them... you go for the Bajaj Majesty ICX7...i bought it and using it for 2 years without any problem. Only cooking rice is problematic in the end with these type of stoves. just before draining the cooke...d rice we need to keep the cooker in sim which is possible in gas but difficult in an induction stove. only that's a problem and nothing else. we are very happy to be relieved of the erratic supply of cooking gas.Read More

Hi sheetalshah12, the heating is the same like a gas stove and even quicker than that.the only thing is that you may have to buy flat bottomed stainless steel or iron utensils.only that much.
