Reviewed Honda Gold Wing GL 1800

(Updated Jul 11, 2018 01:35 AM)

I was planning to take my wife to Snowdonia, North Wales on back of a motorbike and obviously my own Ninja 6r was out of context to eat 250 miles each way. After going through few rental websites I was left with two choices, a BMW K1600 GT or a Goldwing 1800. I knew K1600 was quicker and more ag...Read more

I wrote a review few months back and I just did that with no much interest, so, now I feel to edit my review. I apologise to those who didn't get much information from my last review. I own a YZFR1 since feb 2008 and find it superb in every aspect, except a few things I am going to mention later...Read more

Sometimes i really feel bad when people who are still kids in Motorcyles say something about who are expert and have been in that field for ages. Mr. Anand I went through your profile and seen ur pic in which you were doing a wheelie on a pulsar. Do u think u became expert by doing that, my dear boy..., do u know I used to do cobra wheelie on my Dad's RX-100 when i was in my 6th std. and for your kind infromation cobra wheelie means that you have to break the tail lamp of your bike while doing that. I don't think you were in your senses when you were writing comment on my reveiw. I justified what i said in my review and people were agreed except you. You are a frustrated guy and you say yourself a biker, come on!if you don't know about 2 strokes then you are just a simple biker. Check out Raid-de-himalaya results and u will come to know bout shogun. You have no idea about shogun. As shogun can bang any bike in india upto 110 km/hr. except RD-350 and that is the lion in my jungle. What do u know about bikes I have worked for Yamaha Asutralia for 2 years and I had so many super bikes in past 5 years. I am pity on you when u said about the rear wheel 17' and front is 18'. Dou know that's always in bikes like adventrure sports or trail bikes a city bike can't be like that send Bajaj an e-mail and ask them and you will get what iwas saying is right. Rear is 18 and front is 17. One more thing, du know in National motocross Pulsar never came in 1st, 2nd and third or 5th or 6th in last 4 years after the bike launched. Fiero always stands first and second in four strokes 150 or above category followed by CBZ. Accept this guy try to find why i am saying this. Pulsar is really a piece of crap my dear boy and what the hell DTSi that's just a marekting srategy don't u know by putting two pulgs does make any sense. That makes nothing for a bike performance neither in power nor in mileage. you are just impressed by them nothin else just ride a well tuned shogun and u will burn yoRead More

I am really shocked and disappointed with Priyadarshan, who is a great director and he did really well in past with his class movies like Virasat, Hera-Pheri, Ye tera ghar ye mera ghar and Hulchal. I am unable to understand what he was thinking when working on the story of Garam masala. The movi...Read more

It was back in 1996 when Yamaha was working on a bike as an alternative of RX-100 in order to cope up with the coming emission norms. Yamaha's R&D was working on the bike and suddenly they came to know that the government decided to put the emission norms earlier. They had to stop the production...Read more

Fire a shogun and listen the roar coming out of semi expansion chamber. Shogun means shotgun and I realised this when I rode shogun for the first time in 1995. I had a Yamaha Rx-100 before that and I was damn sure that no bike could beat that but when I rode my friend's brand new shogun in 1995 ...Read more
