Excellent review. No marketing hype. This is WHAT a review SHOULD look like, with complete due diligence by Mr LG Sankar. Commendable. Completely recommended.

Thanks. I would like to see Maggi not being consumed as much, harmful ingredients as in Pepsi, Coke and others. If Patanjali is as good as you say, it's good an India-made product is giving these INTERNATIONAL PROFIT MACHINES a run for their money. Thanks

Update: Test drove a demonstrator Hyosung 250 V Twin 28 horses, 2009 model and a Suzuki Inazuma slightly used 4200Kms.Impressed with Inazuma's sound and build quality. Hyosung's height, size and feel on the road are excellent. Can't tell which is better. I also looked at a new clearance item H...onda 750cc-2015 model, A$8000, original price A$12.5K plus (in Melbourne area, same country town-area where 'Salaam-Namaste' movie was made) Will post and update.Read More

The ones I seen here in Oz were the late 2008+ models and the tech on it was still pretty good. Even the modern 650cc with 80+ horses can hold a steady 200kmph+ so sometimes the 1000cc plus grade is an overkill, however on the racetrack or on a cruiser,it's an absolute hoot.

I used to go private mechanics only. They know the deal better. Mechanic Kannan in Bangalore is a geniius there are many others like him check that out please. The dealer places are just good spare part changers and good water wash trained people. They may not be the best.

Riyas, Since you have asked for advice, I've had a chance to drive many motorcycles over a period of time. It is a no-brainer that Honda Unicorn has a top-class engine. The Pulsar 150 post-2010 production surprised me with its better quality, but then again, I am comparing it with the first... Pulsar 150/180 single spark. The Hero Hunk is a good vehicle too, for fuel-efficiency, quick acceleration on any vehicle consumes more fuel, basic laws of mechanics. Always check out the average for these 3 motorcycles with friends, ask people when you get a chance, I did that when I got a Pulsar. At the moment, the TVS Apache 200 comes with top-of-the-line in house technology and is a steal for it price, fit and finish on a 200cc motorcycle. But since fuel efficiency is your target with decent pickup, The Honda is an accomplished, proven no-brainer while the Hero Hunk is next, Good luck, do some research the fun you get on a Apache 200 may not be available on these 3 choices you mention, I am about to spend some serious $$ on a 650cc or a 250 Suzuki, fun is THE KEY on a motorcycle. I've lived in your home state, Kerala for 2-3 years, so I know what you're after, Have FUN go for some world-class tech on the new TVS Apache or if Unicorn is good enough for you, go for it !Read More

I did not have the experience of riding the Pulsar 150DTSi. There's always a first time for many things in life and in 2015, was my first ride with this Bajaj motorcycle. My first ride was a Bajaj Pulsar single spark 180cc release 2002 and that was a fine motorcycle back then. Why the Pulsar?...Read more

I hear ZMR is about 1 lac + from websites. It is about $1500 and even the cheapest Hyosung is $5000 in OZ for a 250. Honda is around that. So it's a steal due to competition and the cc, HP and fuel efficiency, looks are not bad for that price. Plus, 15 years ago, Indians did not have the choices... of today.Read More
