Hi yogesh, I felt that your review is very much centered around the Pru ICICI Tech Fund and just because this fund isn't doing well, it is unfair to judge the whole Pru ICICI Fund house as a whole. A lot depends on the Fund Manager of Pru ICICI Tech Fund. As for the comparisoin with other IT Funds..., its investors' job to do before investing. Otherwise, it is the same kind of war like between Coke and Pepsi in mutual fund industry.Read More

It is true that KNPH is a media hyped hit. Not just Times Group's Awards, Screen Videocon Awards and recently the Lux Zee Cine awards followed the suit. I don't find even a single point in KNPH getting so many awards. No doubt the judges are biased. And especially I agree with what you wrote a...bout Amisha. Out of such a country-wide hype over Hrithik, pity that not even one a single appreciating word was spoken about Amisha. So bad, shame to Bollywood. Shame to the Awards jury. -Sree.Read More

Satya, it is worth mentioning about Shri Kalahasti which is about 2 hours drive from Tirupati. It has a glorious temple of Lord Shiva that is centuries old. As the people there claim, it houses one of the Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. I would say, a trip to Tirupati wouldn't be complete if you don't v...isit Kalahasti. And besides Alivelu Manga temple (Godess Lakshmi) in Tirupati, it is worth visiting 'Govindarajulu' and then the Kapila Teertham (which is the point where the uphill to Tirumala starts). And if I'm not wrong, 'Tirupati' means 'Pati' of 'Thiru' which is Shri Vishnu. Keep it up Satya, it is a very good review.Read More

Thanks Amrita for reminding. For engineering institutes, Mysore has SJCE (Jayachamaraja) , NIE and for medical folks, again Jayachamara etc. Not only this, Mysore also has CFTRI (Central Food Technology Reserach Institute) which is only one of its kind. Then comes the Institute of Speech and Hearing... which is both kind of a Research Institution and a hospital. Needless to mention the beautiful campus of Mysore University. As for the roads and airports, the Karnataka government ha s just started working on express highways between Mysore and Bangalore, doubling the railway line between the two places and a private plane operator has plans of running point to point flight services between Bangalore and Mysore but is meant for tourists, though. So, things are improving in Mysore, in no time it can emerge as a major point on Indian map. Finally let me add one more thing. The Saint Philomena Church. This gigantic church is I guess about 90 years old, and is a famous toursit spot. ThougRead More

Hi, When one classmate of my own batch approached me and another classmate onf mine (who attended it) to attend and participate in a spiritual programme in a nearby church, what else could be more concrete proof than this ? A couple of my juniors in their initial days at the college faced the same... problem. And one more!! When a couple of the college teaching staff themselves are involved, whom will you complain to ? As for the cigarette sale, we did make a complaint to the administration but it fell on deaf ears!! Will be you able to fight continuously for such causes forgetting your main job of studying and preparing for exams ? As for the Fathers, I guess only if you are a localite for a couple of years and watch things around, you will know about it. I'm not talking about words that come by in the air.
