Hampi was one of the places on my list when I was deciding where to go for the Aug 13 - 15 weekend. But we finally ended up visiting Hassan, Belur, Halebid and Shravanabelagola. Sorry for the rating but had been to the place and absolutely detested the food. We had ordered for lobster and it was half done and absolutely bland. The other portions were also very small, not worth the money at all. The only good thing was the ambience and the service. But what is the use of tha...t if the food itself is bad... That was a beautiful review on 'namma' B'lore. Yes, B'lore is not without its share of problems but talking about them would take up another review. When I had come to B'lore from a small town, it seemed like a dream place to me but now I have become a B'lorean who finds faults with every othe...r thing. I went through the same grind in 2003 but in the Kolkata Consulate. Five people ahead of me had got rejected and I was almost giving up hope that mine would be accepted but fortunately after 5-6 questions, he told me, 'Enjoy your US trip'. I couldn't believe my ears!
