actually the book should be titled - 'the monk who sold his ferraru and made millions writing a book about it.'

I think you can spend your time better than writing a review like this. I too could have spent my time better than reading this... But then, deep down we are all vulgar gossips. So I can't really blame you.

well you did make a mistake by comparing it with tolkien. very few writers in the world can ever match the scope of tolkien't imagination and his powerful characters. this way, you will never enjoy anything you read.

There is a child hidden inside each one of us. And sometimes we get to let this child out to play. Reading this book is one such experience. The book started off as a sequel to the “Adventures of Tom Sawyer.” A picaresque novel, which portrayed the adventures of a young boy....Read more

this is one of the most exciting plays ever written. full of action and grand gestures. and the next time when you read it, remember that it is a play, not a novel. so read it out aloud, and even better, play all the characters in the privacy of your room. i am sure you will enjoy it.

i would be the last person in the world to say that this a great commercial. but the points that you have raised against it are quite ridiculous. come one. nobody wants you to believe that somebody is actually going to run down a cheetah on a bicycle or that this animal likes mountain dew. ...it is what is called in advertising parlance, 'a willing suspension of disbelief.' if u judge everything like this, you will never be able to enjoy any hollywood or even bollywood movies. ('simple villagers who don't know anything of the game defeating seasoned cricketers, pullleeeaaaasee - that could have been your review on lagaan.)Read More

true, mr. maughan is one of the greatest writers of the english language. true this book is also considered to be one of the greatest classics of all times. i however didn't like the book too much. why? because somehow this book left a bad taste in my mouth. probably because this book is... semi-autobiographical in nature. and because he somehow seems to trying to glean sympathy from the readers. don't get me wrong, i am a huge fan of the author. i love his short stories, they are the best ever. and also his novel, 'the moon and the sixpence.' if u haven't read it, try it out. it is amazing.Read More

fantastic ads... am not sure whether they are the 10 best ads ever written. but then, all of us have our own personal favourites. my fav ad is the one that indra sinha wrote for amnesty international. (i am sure that u have seen it in the copy book.) the best thing about this ad is that ...it was a direct response ad. and the response was fantastic!Read More

i have been riding an electra for quite a few years, and i'd like to point out a few errors in ur review. i have done more than 800 kms on a single day. that too on potholed indian roads. i cannot think of another indian bike that can do that. correction- i cannot think of another bike that can d...o that. about speed. i will admit that the pick up is not that great. but then, give the bike a long stretch of road and it can really pull its weight. i have done 110 km/hr for quite a few kms at a stretch, and 90 km/hr for quite a few hrs together. about the sound - people have been known to go crazy about it. but in a good way. u are the first guy i have come across who thinks differently. i think i can guess at ur reasons though. the bullet needs delicate handling for the first few months. maybe u didn't run in ur bike properly. that can spoil a bullet engine for ever. and yes, a bullet demands respect. treat it well and she is sure to pay dividends. i hope u change ur opinion. call me parochial, but i think the bullet also deserves a place in this list. after all, which bike has so much heritage. and is still relevant today? anyways, its a really really great review u have here. I really enjoyed reading it

imaging a 20 best bikes review which does not include a royal enfield bullet. but has the audacity to mention the thunderbird. or the magical java... well sonny, you have to learn to distrust ads that tell u that their bikes are the best in the world. to give a really honest rating, one also nee...ds to drive some of these bikes.Read More
