Further update - my 46' Samsung LCD TV just blew up last week. A boom sound and gone. !! Great ! That's the icing on the cake.

Latest..... the supervisor for the call center(Mr Narender) decides all by himself that a) all Samsung will offer me is a replacement of the part by a franchisee service organization b) will not have anyone from Samsung itself to repair it instead of the franchisee who I was uncomfortable with (if S...amsung warranty itself cannot cover me, how can i rely on a third party?) c) will not have anyone from the franchisee organization service the microwave ALONG WITH someone from Samsung, so that my concerns are assuaged d) will not give in writing after the part replacement that the microwave is as good as new and is SAFE to use e) will not have me talk to anyone on his escalation path - neither the regional/national head of Samsung Service or the head of the customer service call center and f) will not even send me an email that this is the solution that Samsung is offering me - the one which involves the franchisee rep changing parts !! Now how appalling this. he actually refused each and every one of the above requests from me !! Now Samsung - is this your customer service policy?
