Just read  somewhere on the net that ticket prices are hiked to Rs.900! 900? Seriously? For a movie like D3? YRF seems to be looting us! Coming back to D3, the movie is suspense+ emotional drama+ confusion all over…. It starts off well but post interval keeps on dragging and dragging that ...Read more

Tu na rukega kabhi Tu na thamega kabhi Tu na mudega kabhi kar Shapath, Kar Shapath, Agneepath, Agneepath, Agneepath! These lines resonate through your mind as you leave the theater after watching this Agneepath. The movie is superb in many, many scenes. But, on the negative side, ...Read more

Fenil's Bollywood Talk # 179

Hi Fenil, Completely agree with your views on 'Rockstar'. The ending leaves us clueless. But, Ranbir Kapoor is fantastic as usual. Out of Imtiaz Ali's films my favorite is 'LAK' and I loved that film after second viewing. So, maybe 'Rockstar' will also grow on us, similarly... Simran

Congrats, Fenil! Hey Fenil, Heartiest Congratulations for 175th Bollywood Talk! As for Ra.One, the promos are not that exciting. But it being an SRK film we are going to watch it anyway, But this time at least we will wait for reviews because last time when we went for Mausam, my husband w...as really upset with me! So, hoping Ra.One makes this Diwali a Happy. One :) SimranRead More

Hi Fenil, Your write-up on Katrina is really nice. I became her fan after watching Namaste London. Her performance in New York and Raajneeti and now recently in ZNMD is very good. She is growing as an actor with every film. And, yes, she never says bad things about anyone even when the media tri...es to provoke her. That shows where her focus is... Simran.Read More

My Name Is Khan was more deserving! Hi Fenil, Dabangg was liked mostly because of Salman Khan's acting. So, actually, Salman Khan should have won all the Best Actor Award and not Dabangg! Take Salman Khan out of this film and it becomes an average film. My Name Is Khan, on the other hand, was ...a worthy contender. It had, Acting, Music, Story, Dialogues, every part was award worthy and plus it had a very noble message to convey. Dabangg is nowhere in that league! That's my take, SimranRead More

Jitendra ji, Feeling sad over all the happenings... Really don't know what to comment.... I completely agree with your point that media only brings out the issues of the party they do not support... Hope Roopam gets justice... my good wishes are with her... Simran

Hi Fenil, Thanks for your Bollywood update. I would love to watch Robot as I am a fan of Aishwarya. But, it is a Rajnikanth film, so don't know how much role Ash will have! Let's see, I will wait for reviews. But choice will be Robot for sure! Simran

Hi Gaurav, Yeah, when a film becomes 'Bollywoodish' after a promising start, it is a bit disappointing. Thanks for your rating and comments, Simran

Fenil's Bollywood Talk # 116

Sep 01, 2010 08:24 PM

Hi Fenil, Well, I am going to skip this one. The promo is not very intriguing. I loved Stepmom and the film made an impact that is fresh till today. It was a really nice film. I am hoping WAF will come close to that. But even then I will watch it on DVD. Not going to multiplex for this one. ( Sa...ving that time for Dabangg!) Take Care, Simran.Read More
