I was in same situation like you. I chose Slingshot. Read my review on the bike. I found Shine too expensive and if you pay say additional 3 - 5 K, you can get CB Unicorn. I was not happy with becos it was too vibrating in higher speed as well. I have not seen a good review of TVS bikes exce...pt Apache. Go ahead and book Slingshot. I asked for 2011 model and waited for close to 2+ months. I have a Black color. If you are bangalore around Bannerghatta road, let me know. you can test my bike as well.Read More

My objectives where clearly written and what other bikes i have seen. Apache RTR i didnt like it at all. More over, its more sleeky and its 160 CC i think which i dont want. I didnt want to Bajaj and TVS because somehow, i am very convinced myself and its purely personal. Value for Money is my perso...nal opinion based on my objectives and my satisfactory levels. Preception differs. Opinion differs. Splendor is a 100 CC engine and i do not want it. With 2 people going, 4 gears i am not really happy with its performance. More over, i had CD 100 in 1997 and I was not impressed with the latest model splendor when compared to that. I think Karthi mentioned its giving 55 to 60 KM Per Litre and NOT speed. He has gone top speed of 95 KM Per Hour and zero vibration. I am not sure if you are refering to some other review on Slingshot. Read More

Regarding Gears. i have writeen. I ride 1989 bullet and have gear on the other side. that was difficult for me. I didnt feel issue with gear chaging. Performance was really good in the way i wanted it. With my wife bike sensed the added weight and it was a up-hill and it glided in 3rd gear very... fine. especially in bangalore traffic, it will come handy in frequent geat changing. this was lacking in HH Glamour. Vibration. I didnt get any vibration or what so ever. Even lower gear, the knocking or vibration due to that was not sensed. Maintenance. i have answered.Read More

I experienced very bad customer care at their Jaya Nagar branch. I was looking for a Mobile phone a partifcular model(actually couple of models). When I went it was evening around 6:00 PM or so. on a week day and no crowd in the shop. No body in the mobile phone section bothered even to tal...k.
