Hi all, I bought my Swift VDI in October, 2014 after exchange with my 2006 Wagon R. The Maruti Dealer Bhandari Automobiles at Kolkata gave me an offer and also arranged one stop bank finance, which I could not refuse. The exchange process, documentation, bank loan all were completed in 3 work...Read more

Subsequent to my complaints with Travelyaari.com, they have initiated refund process of the fare charged. I had specifically mentioned that I do not want refund of fares, but want good service. While the gesture to initiate refund proceedings is appreciable, I still maintain that they need to do... more to improve service deliveries at the ground level. Tourists reaching unknown destinations after a long journey should not be harassed by touts at the boarding point. Shyambenu BasuRead More

This is the worst type of service I have faced. I had bade a bus booking for travel on June 26th 2013. The ticket gave a confirmed reservation in a non A/C bus at 10.10pm from Amritsar to Katra by Bhatia Travels (Reference PNR No 10271713-124007 Seat 17-18). The seat numbers were showing up i...Read more

I will add to your review. I own a Wagon R Duo in Kolkata- bought in 2006 when Maruti first introduced it. Driven about 38000Km so far - mostly on LPG. Beautiful car - no problems ever- still as good as new. On highways, the car easily revs past 100Kms/Hr with family and AC on. I am amazed at the am...ount of punishment the car can take. I have once travelled with 5 adults (including driver) and 3 children on the highway and drove at speeds of upto 120 Kms/hr without AC as it was winter. I am a 6 footer, not lightweight and my wife is also quite heavy. I feel very comfortable during long drives and recently went for a long drive after 1 month after I had a gall stone surgery. The car is smooth and still works as good as when it was new. I drive in petrol mode on the highways and regularly go on long drives always with AC on and drive at speeds of over 80 Kms/hr. I always drive in the city in LPG mode. Last year I had gone to Sikkim once and went around in a rented Wagon R car which was bought in 2007 - petrol version. I was amazed at the car’s hill climbing capability with full load including luggage. We went all around Sikkim visiting places like Peling, Ravangla, Gangtok, Namchi in this car and was really amazed at the quality of ride we got. I have travelled in the car with my wife, 2 kids, the driver and luggage. Boot space of the petrol version is amazing. The negatives I feel about the car are that its front tyres wear out quickly.Tubeless tyres may be a good option. Also, the headlights could have been better since I like going on long drives. Boot space has been compromised in the Duo, but I am not complaining. Gear factor - I am used to it. No problems. Yes - Duo’s clutch may be sensitive. I had to change the clutch recently at 34,000Kms. Safety is never a problem. My front tyre once punctured when I was driving on the highway at around 70 Kms speed. There was no sway and I brought the car smoothly to a halt. Happy drivingRead More

Hello, I totally disagree with your comments on Wagon R Duo. It is simply a wonderful car. I bought the car in September, 2006 when it was first introduced by Maruti and so far covered about 38000 km. I am from Kolkata and drive around in the city always on LPG. I regularly go on long drives of... around 250-300 Kms each way when I run on Petrol since LPG is not available in the outskirts of the city. The car gives a mileage of around 11Km/l with LPG in the city and around 18 Km on highways in Petrol mode. I have driven the car at speeds of 100-120 Km with AC on and full load on highways - there was never a problem. The car also gave excellent mileage on Petrol when I drove around the city a few times. I have never ever had a problem with the LPG system.Make sure you regularly change the LPG filter kit which is there in the engine compartment. every 3000 Km if you are running more on LPG. The LPG system must be used regularly or else you may have a problem. Use LPG mode in the city for best results. The only problem I faced with my car was that my clutch broke down once and had to be replaced. Other than that, all my problems were taken care of during the service. Always get your car serviced at only large maruti dealerships. Not all maruti garages can properly service a duo car because of its dual fuel system. Happy driving. Hope my tips will give you more confidence about the Wagon R Duo. Read More

This is my Third review on my Wagon R Duo - The first one was written when my car completed 9000 Km. That time I called it a stupendous car! I bought the car in September 2006 - when Maruti first introduced the Duo cars. Nobody was sure of the product at that time. Today - the car is over 6 y...Read more
