Recently, some 10-15 days before, a friend of mine who is working with ICICI Lombard General Insurance told me this. There was a doctor who had taken a policy from ICICI Lombard. The policy was of Rs 1200 only. After paying the premium and submitting all documents, this doctor waited and waited ...for his policy, sent sms's, did phone calls but to no avail. Finally he got the number of K V Kamth (MD of ICICI Bank) and directly spoke to him. Things started moving very fast and he got his policy delivered immediately. Similarly one more family had insured their house with ICICI Lombard General Insurance. There was a fire and the house came down. They waited and waited for the claims, made phone calls etc. etc. Finally the man wrote to K V Kamath and told him every detail ... viz who he spoke to in the call center, what they replied, when he called back etc. etc. Again, Things started moving very fast and he got his claim settled immediately and the cheque was delivered personally by the executive.
Try this out. Find the mail address of Ratan Tata and write to him asap. See how the executive who stalked you comes down to your feet with your policy.Read More
