I have now completed 6700 kms and the average i am getting is 10.5 - 11 in city (traffic conditions) with AC and 14.5 on highway with AC. As i have never driven without AC, i cannot comment on that.

You should go ahead and buy the Aveo UVA , its damn good. I have purchased in June. It is extremely spacious and has a very good ride quality and if you want to be driven then this is better than any other car.
