We all buy from Amazon(I do a lot), but not all sellers are trustworthy! Some products are of poor quality! Now, how do we find it? The thumb rule is, if a seller does not offer return(except perishable item) do not buy it!As simple as that. Recently I ordered a branded wireless earbud costing Rs...Read more

I ordered 3 quantities of an item through PaytM. To charge me separate delivery charges, they converted my order into 3 orders. Still, I placed my order. I received my stuff, though in ONE PACKING! Though I didn't bother about this, the items were so bad that I had to return it. I returned...Read more

It could be poisonous or cancerous, I'm not sure? But the fact is that they don't serve fresh food! The chicken sausage tasted like rubber, and the omelette like plastic pieces!  Besides, they didn't even bother to heat it!  I was wondering what went wrong?  This is what I found - live pictur...Read more

Petrol/Diesel prices - they are looting us! Do you know that Oil Companies are looting us Rs 7 per litre for Petrol and Diesel as an undisclosed mark up on Shipping cost besides taking a huge profit of Rs 10 to Rs 20 per litre? Figures provided by Oil Companies can't be wrong! Following calculation...s are for Petrol: For computing retail price of Petrol, Oil Companies add $20 per barrel as Shipping charges to import from the Gulf when you can import at $2 per barrel even from North America? This means just on the difference in Shipping Costs, the Oil Companies loot the consumers $18 per barrel! If you take 62 as exchange rate and consider 159 litres in a barrel, $18 per barrel will work out to Rs 7 per litre ( 18 x 62 = Rs 1,116 per barrel or 1116/159 = Rs 7 per litre). To this value, they add refinery transport cost (currently 50% of retail price!!!), Central Govt. Excise duty , dealer's commission, state tax etc. We are not disputing Refining Cost, Govt. Duties and Dealer's Commission etc. But, how can they justify the C & F cost on which they make an undisclosed profit of 7 Rs per litre plus around half of Retail price as Refining cost and Transportation cost which means a huge profit of Rs 10 to 20 per litre? For argument sake, we can forget their huge profit. But, let us see how much they make on the difference in shipping cost? India's oil consumption in 2011 is 3,292,000 bbl/day. (May be much higher now!) This means they loot us 11,040 Crores on account of Shipping Cost only (i.e., 3,292,000 x $18 = $5.93 Crores per day or 5.93 x 62 = Rs 368 Crores per day or 368 x 30 = Rs 11,040 Crores) . This money will not be shown on their Balance Sheet. Who shares this money? Between private Oil Companies like Reliance, Essar, etc. , the Babus and Central Ministers? We don't know? To prove their figures, I asked for last 6 months import invoices through RTI. The Oil Companies refuse saying that this is a confidential Information!! What does this mean? People with common sense know it?Read More
