Your review is very partisan and does not have a full picture. You seem to be really angry at these folks man! Please note that Amway is legally cleared to operate in China and Singapore, two very tough markets to operate in the world. Please have facts ready with you before you give your inordinate...ly abusive opinions. I am sure you have not really used any of their products, including Glister. regards, Santosh Read More

This is the review of the Onida Oxygen 29 inch bought in 2005 September. I bought it for 17500 from Bangalore, though the picture quality was not as great as competition. My thought was influenced due to the older Onida that we had at home in my childhood and it had functioned flawlessly for 15 ...Read more

Yes, I agree with you completely. The quality of their TV mother boards is pathetic. I had smoke coming out of my Onida 29 inch Oxygen after 3 yrs of use. The service people said itis 'IC Fault' and charged 1000 rs whereas it was a simple loose contact. Now I had to change the mother board, since it... is burned beyond repair in 6 months after the service was done. Very very poor stuff being made. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Read More

Hi Vignesh, BSA foldman is a good bike... though not suited for very heavy people (I am 105kgs in weight) or for long commutes (above 10km one way). It is a good bike... but the original tyres are cheap.. replace them. Gears are shimano and they work like a charm. It is a real cute bike. But it... is about 15Kgs in weight.. so dont expect to carry it around in one hand... :) regards, SantoshRead More

Hi Bhatt, The quality of representatives in general insurance is indeed very pathetic. You have to dig out all the information yourself. Agents are only there to receive money or send reminders. Expecting anything more than that would be tragic. Hi Nagesh, This is not a pure health cover. ...This is a supplementary cover that adds on your existing health cover. The 5000 rs per day max for hospitasation is given irrespective of the cost you incurr. That is the point. This cover is not to reimburse your treatment expense, but other expenses like lost leaves, travel for family to visit you etc etc... regards, Santosh Read More

hi, you could have added a few things about 'pre-existing' illnesses and how companies use these words to con people. You could have also added info about critical illness policies, hospital cash policies and stuff to make it a more comprehensive review. Instead you concentrated only on the cash/ ca...shless hospitalisation part. That said, review is very sincerely written. Keep up the good work! cheers, Santosh Read More

I feel that your review is extremely prejudiced and does not have facts to corrobate your insolent views. Which other car in the segment have you compared/ actually travelled in? To me it seems like you are used to only the Mercedes S600.

Did you have the back pain when you were applying to the policy? To me it looks like you wanted the insurance company to pay for your doctor visits.. and thats why you took it. But insurance is to be taken BEFORE you actually end up with a disease, not after. Most companies have a waiting period ...of some time (2-3 months is usual) before they admit ANY claim, EXCEPT that of an accident. So in your case, my understanding is that they were right in denying the claim. These policies are not to be taken with verbal assurances, sir. Most of the guys who sell it know *nothing* about the policy as such. regards, Santosh Read More

I liked your review, though I cannot agree to the hurry with which you broke some of the policies due to high allocation charges. How can you blame private insurers for that? Of course, they are devils who mislead, but the final onus is on us, the consumers, right? Besides, you seem to have inves...ted all ur money in moneyback policies... I did not hear a word 'equity' or share mentioned in your article. Surprising... Do you think the PSU life insurance companies mention the allocation charges and such in moneyback or endowment policies. They dont. In that case, why blame private folks? I feel at least they are honest about the charges - but you have to ask and find that. Otherwise agents sweettalk us into dreaming about buying that S-class. :) The basic underlying fact is this - if a policy is sold to you, with the agent initiating it, it is most likely to benefit him/ her in the short run than you. How many agents recommend Term Insurance, for instance? The real fact is endowment and moneyback policies are out of date. They belong to a previous generation. Sticking on to them kind of indicates a lack of willingness to take even miniscule risk. regards, Santosh Read More

hi ash5544, For PPD/ TPD, they offer 5000 rs per week for a max of 104 weeks. That is a good two years! :) In a related context, i would also urge you to consider hospital cash plans from bajaj (cheapest) and tata aig, icici. These plans give a fixed predetermined sum per day of your hospital...isation. Kind of covers for loss of income and other expenses incurred during hospitalisation. For a beginning, go to https://www.bajajallianz.com/BagicCorp/bajaj_home/products/health/hospital_cash.jsp. Tata aig general insurance also has a scheme similar to this, but more comprehensive. regards, Santosh Read More

I agree with Modemnoise's comments. However, I dont think you are a DSA or employee.. because they are far too demotivated to write any such article on mouthshut. :) But what is to be seen is a review by a customer, preferably a nominee who has goen through the process of getting the insurance... amount from the death of a insured person. I have not seen a single such review on mouthshut. :( I have the same request as vikramlilha. regards, Santosh Read More
