Stating that computer education holds the key to the new knowledge revolution that is sweeping the world, he said that it should be made available to Mumbai’s children on a large scale. “This will be posible only if schools run by the BMC can provide computers to children in their classrooms,” he said. As of now, the second phase will cover five thousand upper primary schools which will further benefit three and a half lakh children. Expressing this move as a small gesture to the city’s future, especially that of children who study in ordinary schools and do not come from affluent families, Mr Ambani said, “This is just a small gesture from me, a token of my feeling for Mumbai’s future, my concern for Mumbai’s children.'
