whenever i am with you...........

Posted on Sep 14, 2009 under General

I wish I could always be with you
Because I feel special whenever I am with you.
I feel like I am in the 8th heaven
What if the god has created only seven?
Every law of the world seems to be tiny,
And, I am always found guilty of mutiny.
You are a guest,
Who seems to capture every corner of my heart
And I feel like a stupefied host.

Because I feel…………

You are the person who breathe
And I am the one who is alive.
Whenever I am with you, I feel like I am the rain,
With my drops I will make you smile whenever I can.
Your presence gives me zeal,
Your smile!!! I would love to be a thief if I could steal (it)
You give me an audacity to defy the world,
You give me insanity to fall in your love.

Because I feel……..

It was serendipity when I met you,
Now it’s a source of my life to be with you.
Do I need to say, that my heart beats for you??
Its only you, you and you….

the proposal

Posted on Jul 04, 2009 under General

Yesterday she said, she loves me
I still wonder, is it reality or the lady has a simple crush on me?
I think she wants me to feel the panorama of love,
But being in love? Do I truly deserve?
People say that love is an endless journey of pain,
Suddenly a voice came and said, don’t start!! For people like us there is a ban!!!
She says that she is surrounded by my thoughts every day and night,
My mind is still not letting me fall in love and holding me tight.
Then I thought, let us see what the views of Mr. Heart are,
Cause I don’t want a spat (between heart and mind).
The love organ (heart) wants me to fall in love,
Because it thinks love is a feel which is all above.
Now I am confused about what to do?
Shall I start the journey of love or change the route?
Shall I look back and say “I love you too”.
The love organ seems to dominate my thoughts and asking to fall in love with whatever I have.
Now I am going to answer her question and say….
I love you too, I love you too, I love you too…….

The great lady

Posted on Jun 09, 2009 under General

Whenever I enter into the office of the great lady, I cannotstop asking question to myself, “What is the force behind her which keepsdriving her on for social services even at the age of 70+?”
PrassannaBhandari is her name or rather we can call her “mummy ji” as she is addressed bythe children in her orphanage ran under the banner of an NGO named “Karni Nagar Vikas Samiti”. The NGO runs three shelter homes, one each for old agepeople, girls and the children who have no one to take care of them.
I visitthe orphanage on a regular basis and ask other people also to do so and themain force which motivated me is the devotion of the great lady. While talkingto her many times I have been able to see the enthusiasm and the determinationof her for the social service.
She hashelped more than 100 children in getting adopted, more than 50 girls getmarried and many old age people to take their last breath with people aroundthem to take care, and all this has been done among a slew of alligations.butnothing seems to be hurdle in her devotion for the great cause.
I amstill unanswered about the force behind these people which provides them hugedetermination and let them work or society against all odds? What is the forcebehind them which provides them energy to work like an enthusiastic teen evenat the age when other people should take care of them?
Some timeI think that it is all about their belief in their work. It was the belief of “MohanDas Karamchand Gandhi” in ‘truth and non-violence’ which could make him “MahatmaGandhi”, it is only the belief of “Prassanna Bhandari” in her decision ofsocial service which provides her extraordinary power to sail through everydifficulty.
Anotheraspect which attracts me towards her is her least preference to publicity. Whatall she gets in newspaper is one or two photographs in a year, which perhapsprovides her more time to serve for the great cause.
I willsurely never forget the words said by her……..
“beta ji, I know that there are a lot of bad people in thisworld who will always create hurdles but I keep on searching for the good ones”

please help the education system

Posted on May 20, 2009 under General

Why does it happen again and again that the student community has to leave books and take stones in their hands to protest against the system? Why can’t the people working in the system work properly and perform their duty?
On the day of 15th may a student of an engineering college in our city was murdered by some people, but unfortunately the police is still unable to find the goons. To protest against this lethargy of police and some unwanted remarks by the college administration some of the student went to the college, but what happened there is not something on which we can boast.
The police and the college administration were all set to deal with it but in an unwanted manner, protesting students were beaten and arrested by the police force. Student also used violence to protest.
Here, I don’t say that the student community was completely right, because they also used violence in their protest but let me ask one thing to all of the readers, is it the same style in which we want our nation to go ahead?
Don’t you think that one of the foremost reasons of this unwanted behavior of the students was the lethargy of the police department and unjust comment by the college system? It has been 5 days till date but the police could not arrest even a single person in respect of the case and due to this clash between the police and students several students are not able to pay attention to their studies in a proper manner.
It has been more than sixty years of our nation as a democracy but we still don’t know how to treat the education system properly, one thing which we should ensure and understand that the student community should be far away from these kinds of events and that will happen when all of the concerned people will work in a proper manner, another thing which I would like to say here that the remarks made by the administration about the character of the dead student proves that now a days these institutions are working like shops where you don’t receive education rather you buy it, and than we proudly say that Indians are the best learners in the world. Is it the style in which we want our education system to work?
What all I think is that all of these things are doing nothing but decreasing the level of the education system in the nation and a lot lives are getting spoiled.

the YOUTH marathon

Posted on Apr 19, 2009 under General

Its 11:30 pm and 5 minutes ago I was listening the song “ROOBAROO” from RANG DE BASANTI, played by the local FM station for the “youth marathon” to be organized in the city by our college, with the message to push people to vote. And believe me, I got Goosebumps!!
I have never been a part of any event for the purpose of pushing people to vote and this is the first time when I will be doing so. Because of some physical issues I cannot participate in the run, but for sure I will be there. I am proud of being a part of this event. I don’t know whether people will come to participate in the marathon and they will vote but all of us will try hard.
For last several days students have been trying hard to make it successful and I think it has started making impact, people who know that I am a part of that college are asking to me about the marathon and I am sure that all of them will get motivated with this and will come ahead to vote in a large number.
The poem is devoted to all of the participants of the marathon

Chaltaa jaa musaafir ek din tu manzil ko paa jaega,
Koi patthar koi kaanta tera rastaa naa rok paega,
Kuch rukaawate bhi aa jae raast me to sabra mat khona
Ab to bus kuch paana hai ,kho chuke jitna hame tha khona.
Tera har kadam har insaa me naya josh bhar jaayegaa,
Chahe kuch mile yaa naa mile, is jahaa me tere kadamo kaa nishaa to rah jaega.
Jab chale to kah dena is jameen se,kuch kar dikhaana hai,
Laut kar aane ka wada kartaa hu, bus ek baar aasmaa ko chhu kar aana hai.
Tere kadmo ki goonz ko itni aazzadi de dena ke jahaa me aman ka bigul baj jae,
Har saans me itna josh bhar de ke har shakhs ke andar soya hua insaa jag jae.
Chaltaa jaa e musaafir ek din tu manzil ko paageaa……..

SEPERATION............

Posted on Mar 10, 2009 under General

Kaash kisi ke milne ke baad yu bichadna khatm ho jae,
To har insaan ka dard kuch kam ho jae.
Kai kimati ashk bahane se bach jae,
Kuch palke is kadar naa bheeg jae.
e-khuda kyo hai ye rasm insaa ke insaa se judaa hone ki,
kyo deti hai ye hawa gawahi kisi apne ke naa hone ki.
Kuch logo kaa milna ban jaata hai zindagi jeene ka sahara,
Fir kyo hai ye rasm baar-baar zuda hone ki.
In rishto ki gahraai ham samajh pae,
is se pahle ham juda ho jaate hai.
Zudaai ki is duniya me kuch rishte,
Khushiya dekar kyo hame tanhaa kar jaate hai.
e-khuda yaa to is zamaane me hame rishte naa de,
yaa fir in rishto ki ki miyaad taa-umra kar de.
Chaahe zindagi bhar ki bandagi kaa waada le le,
Lekin kisi ki zudaai kaa ye gam naa de…..

GETTING INTO THE DETAILS...........

Posted on Feb 25, 2009 under General

While getting into the details of life,
I discovered a lot.
While getting into different parts of life,
I discovered a lot.
Fecundity is there in it’s surface everywhere
Sorrows sprouts, but with a felicity somewhere.
It was only the start of a journey called life,
With every new mile I got variegated vibes.
Tried a lot to fathom all those,
few were understood and in a few, i was lost.
Now asking a question to my soul,
Will I be able to get some meaning out of all?
But some day we will get appease,
cause Some day I will be resting in peace.
But that will not be the end of the journey,
I will keep on searching.
The next task will be to discover the dark area(life after death).
It will be a new start after an end,
I am sure, there will be unlimited bends.
but the discovery willl be on,
till the end……………………

ISHK NAHI AASAAN........

Posted on Jan 13, 2009 under General

ishk kaa saagar karawat le rahaa hai zindagi ki raah me,
shaayad koi madahosh hai us paar hamaare pyaar me.
sochate hai tair kar us par chale jaae, lekin Dar lagataa hai.
Dar lagataa hai ki kahi hamaaraa beintahaa pyaar dekhakar, in laharo ko bhi ham se mohabbat naa ho jaae
khoye hai jis kadar ham kisi ke pyaar me, kahI ye lahareM bhI hamaare pyaar me us tarah naa kho jaae.
fir us paar jaanaa kuch mushkil ho jaaegaa
fir shaayad meri mohabbat kaa naam in laharo me hi kho kar rah jaaegaa.
ek anjaan si ulajhan me hu main aaj,
kismat ki is paheli ko betaar karane me masharoof hu main aaj.
apani mohabbat ko laharo me khote hue dekh nahi sakataa,
apane ishk ki zudaai ko bhi sah nahi saktaa.
isaliye kinaare se hi deedaar kar lete hai unakaa,
shaayad yahi likhaa hai hamaare naseeb-e-haal me.............

SATYAM FIASCO

Posted on Jan 09, 2009 under General

“how can we trust the new board of SATYAM COPUTERS when we know that it consists of those people who approved that very controversial and unethical ‘SATYAM-MAYTAS’ deal?.
-Udayan Mukharji, CNBC TV-18
I completely agree with this quote of Udayan Mukharji. Satyam Computer the nation’s fourth largest software company is really going through a tough period. Mr. Raju has done something which should never be followed by any of the entrepreneur of any part of the world, but let us think again, was it only raju who is responsible for the whole mess?
I think no. a fraud worth thousand of crore rupees which has been in presence for years and than the top notch of the company comes on the screen and say that none of them had any knowledge of that.
Are they fool or considering the whole world a big ‘fool’s residency’? I still wonder why people can’t run organizations with ethical conduct and transparency. Examples like ENRON and SARBANES-OXLEY have told the world very clearly that every business must have a lot of Corporate Governance in its conduct, but people like Ramalingam Raju and some other will always try to make mockery of the system.
Another most important part of the mess is something which raises a question mark on the whole system. Three days has passed after the confession of former Satyam chief but still there is almost nil action from different parts of the regulators and the government, Yes, one action has been taken by both of the Stock Exchanges that Satyam has been ousted from both NIFTY and the SENSEX, but this seems to be of no use because I still doesn’t understand what are the basis of the Exchanges to enter the companies in their indices (take an example of Reliance Power, the company is still much smaller in terms of revenues, profits and employee base when compared to some of the non-index stocks).
Some of the experts say that this incident will set an example for a lot of people like Raju, and to some extent I agree with them. But what about the hard earned money of shareholders which has reduced to 10% within 2 days? What about the 50000 thousand employees of the company who are now worried about their future? Here I am not blaming either the system of the law and law makers. Because they don’t ask someone to go and indulge in a fraud, but one thing which is needed from them is to be vigilant enough.
What all I can say that it was the GREED of Rmalingam Raju which forced him to do to so and harm the future of a lot of people as well as the nation’s reputation. I don’t know ho much time the probe about will take but one thing is for sure a lot of unanswered question will haunt everyone like “was it only Raju who is responsible for the whole scam?”

thank you faraha !

Posted on Jan 07, 2009 under General

Today when I was watering the plants in our college campus, FARAHA (one of the junior students) came to me and asked, “Boss can I help you”. I really felt nice and that is why I am writing this piece. Now let me tell you what the whole story is.
I am an MBA student and one of the topics which we have to study in our curriculum is “corporate social responsibility”. To fulfill our responsibility towards the society we done a “plantation pragramme” in our college and planted more than 20 plants. It was a real satisfactory experience. But something is there which I don’t like; we have 60 students in the second year and 60 in the first year as well. For last two months we and 5-6 more friends of mine are doing the job of watering the plant ad believe me its provides utmost satisfaction and elation to us when we see flowers sprouting out of those. Whenever we friends are absent, no one is there to do the job of watering and this is something which annoys me very much.
With a capacity of 120 we could not even find even 20 people who can take responsibility to do the job on a regular basis. On this topic I have asked my junior students as well the classmates several time but they behave like they are not the part of the nature and these plants are not going to anything good to them. I am not saying all of these things because I have some problem in watering the plants, I am regularly doing it and will keep serving the nature, what all I want to say is that we have to be a bit sensitive a about these sort of issue. I think we need a lot more people like “FARAHA”, who are ready to take charge and serve the society.
