Thanks for the feedback Veena... Somehow, my intuition while I opened the account (and that too a premium Account with MF + broker) was against them. I searched internet and found your's and other hapless investors feedback. I just lost my membership fees...Thank god!!!

You may get the products you want at half the price but just think of the quality.
And, prices of books...well what do you expect the book shop people to charge other than the printed price on the book? And if you are so crumbling under recession (Like I am now...;-) ), you can a...lways buy books online...You would get a whopping 30 to 50% discount in brand new books on sites like IndiaPlaza.com or flipkart.com.
Just check these sites...Only drawback with these online shops is the time to get your books in your hand...You have to keep track of your books with the courier guys and pester them with your calls (Yep! The online store will tell you the consignment number of the Courier they are sending from)
And regarding other items from Gangaram's, I will tell you an example. I purchased a certificate folder for 430 bucks from Landmarks @Forum, Bangalore. I used it for just 2 months and it started getting cramped and chipped...And I purchased a certificate folder of the same design from Gangaram's for one of my friend some 3 months back, and it's good as ever....And that too at 330 bucks.
