Thank you Sangeetha. I hope you enjoy the movie on DVD. y2ksrs, Thanks for your comments. I think we can give the director some credit for the cinematography, so inspite of being a faithful remake, it's worth a view on DVD.

Great review. I liked the way you have analyzed the movie and given some great comparisons (Matrix style googles, Lara Croft).

Great review style. I liked the way you mentioned some of their features within the story (a single user ID & password, details of the fees). Good to see that all's well that end's well.

@ajjis - Thanks for your comment. @karthick - The only reason I recommended the movie for a DVD viewing is that apart from an hour of good cinematography, the rest of the movie fails to live up to expectations. In my opinion, DVD on a good TV in a home theatre surrounding will do sufficient ju...stice. Unfortunately in Mayajaal, Chennai (in a packed theatre), I did not see the crowd cheering or standing on its feet, which I think is an important reason for someone to go and watch a mass movie in a theatre.Read More

So following the 1978 box office hit Don starring Amitabh Bachchan, came the 1980 film Billa, starring Rajnikanth. Both movies did well even though the latter was ...Read more

That's my point exactly. The primary focus should be on Hanuman.. as it is in the first half. The movie is torn between Hanuman and Ramayan, losing focus.

For a full length animation Indian movie, ''Hanuman'' may be a first, but if you look at the fact that it is Indian animators who have added life to Hollywood movies like ''Sindbad - Beyond the Veil of Mists'' (Pentamedia Graphics), we still need to walk a long path to reach the top. The stor...Read more

I think Nayanthara's role actually spolit the second half of the movie. I feel the director lost focus in the second half. Surya and Asin both have put some great performance.. I wouldn't mind watching the first half 10 times.. second part.. I would have to force myself.

Arundhati, I agree on most points you have mentioned. Yes, the food is good, so are the fluids. Ambience is great, but sadly, not a place to take a good number of friends (15 or more). That is mainly due to the size of the restaurant. It fairs well on all other fronts, as you have pointed.
