Hi, this Dr. Arnab Roy from Bangalore. Your post is very relevant to me, since I am planning to buy a car, my first, and I am choosing between Maruti Celerio and Tata Tiago. I have contacted both. Maruti has already provided me the Celerio ZXi test drive at my door. They said their showrooms are als...o open on Sunday!! I was impressed!! But Tata said they are closed on Sunday's. Not a big factor for me... But, for Tata, it might be. However, Tata has told that they will send person on Monday... Lets see. I didn't know much about Tiago... But feature-wise looks much better than Celerio. If Tata can just improve their service image... They can perhaps change the scenario altogether. Today I ringed the Conchord Motors and they responded... However, they said they will provide test drive tomorrow, since today the car is not available. That's not a problem for me, if the car I want to buy is in high demand. This was my personal experience. Its not only true for Q800, that I own, but any Xolo model, since I saw and met numerous customers (thanks to my 4-5 times visit to the service center) with several different models, all harassed, frustrated and feeling guilty of buying that phone. But of course the features are great, in this price range. That is why I would say if you have a spare smart phone that you can use when you Xolo will sit in the service centre for indefinite time, then of course you may buy it. Otherwise please buy a branded more reliable one. If you can spend a little more, spend, If not then go for a lesser feature. But you'll be save form the mental torture (every week I call they please wait for another week). Please save yourself from dealing with consumer court. Thank you! Read More
