Ek din ek kutta jungle main raasta kho gaya . Tabhi usane dekha ek sher
uskii taraf aa raha hai. Kutte ki saans rookh gayi. "Aaj to kaam tamaam
mera!" usne socha. Phir usne saamane kuchh sookhi haddiyan padi dekhi. Woh
aate hue sher ki taraf peeth kar ke baith gaya aur ek sookhi hadii ko
choosane laga aur zor zor se bolne laga, "wah! Sher ko khaane ka maza hi
kuchh aur hai. Ek aur mil jaaye to poori daawat ho jayegi!"


Aur usne zor se dakaar mara. Is bar sher sakate mein aa gayaa. Usne socha
"ye kutta to sher ka shikar karta hai! Jaan bacha kara bhago!"


Aur sher wahan se champat ho gaya.


Ped par baitha ek Bandar yeh sab tamasha dekh raha tha. Usne socha yeh
mauka achha hai sher ko sari kahani bata deta hoon - sher se dosti ho
jayegi aur usase zindagi bhar ke liye jaan ka khatra dur ho jayega. Woh
phataphat sher ke pichhe bhaga. Kutte ne Bandar ko jaate hue dekh liya aur
samajh gayaki koi locha hai. Udhar Bandar ne sher ko sab bata diya ki kaise
kutte ne use bewakoof banaya hai. Sher zor se dahada, "chal mere saath abhi
uski leela khatam karta hoon" aur Bandar ko apani peeth par baitha kar sher
kutte ki taraf lapka. Can u imagine the quick management by the DOG...


Kutte ne sher ko aate dekha to ek bar phir uskii taraf peeth karke baith
gaya aur zor zor se bolne laga, "Is Bandar ko bhej ke 1 ghanta ho gaya ,
saala ek sher phaans kar nahi la sakta!"

A saint asked his disciples, 'Why do we shout in anger? Why do people shout at each other when they are upset?'



Disciples thought for a while, one of them said, 'Because we lose our calm, we shout for that.'

'But,why to shout when the other person is just next to you?' asked thesaint. 'Isn't it possible to speak to him or her with a soft voice? Whydo you shout at a person when you're angry?'



Disciples gave some other answers but none satisfied the saint.



Finallyhe explained, 'When two people are angry at each other, their heartsdistance a lot. To cover that distance they must shout to be able tohear each other. The angrier they are, the stronger they will have toshout to hear each other through that great distance.'
Thenthe saint asked, 'What happens when two people fall in love? They don'tshout at each other but talk softly, why? Because their hearts are veryclose. The distance between them is very small...'
Thesaint continued, 'When they love each other even more, what happens?They do not speak, only whisper and they get even closer to each otherin their love. Finally they even need not whisper, they only look ateach other and that's all. That is how close two people are when theylove each other.'

8th July 2009 was a pleasent surprise to many of us who have been associated with State bank India for almost over two decades.. A meeting was called for at Jennys club and the agenda surprise surprise to felicitate long standing customers who have been loyal patrons of the bank at all times.. This was one such meetings where 100 odd clients of SBI was invited and felicitated with momentos and thanks giving for the patronage and support given to the bankers .. Hosted by SBI the SME section of it promised to deliver in terms of service and support for entreprenuers who would like to grow with them .. Leading industrialists in coimbatore graced the occassion with speaches and suggestions for the bankers to deliver , and make banking relatively easier . Strong sentiments where expressed that the countries economy would flourish when the manufacturing sector is looked at and supported in terms of cheaper interests rates and advances as that would in turn mean growth prospects , more jobs higher salaries , more buying capacity and that in turn helps overall industrial growth and goes a full circle.. Interest rates for industrial advances currently to the tune of 12.5 % vis a vis building loans at 8 to 8.5 % meant the banks favour less to the manufacturing sector was the issue bought out by Mr.A.V.Varadharajan chairman Ms sandfits foundry and who was the presiding chief guest at the function.. It was a surpsingly interesting change in face of modern day bankers that SBI is trying to catch up to and kudos its a good begining ...

Jan25th was another happening day in coimbatore when the Ms.cottoncity contest saw 16 talented girls take part in the event sponsored by Tvs motors.. and host of other cosponsorers The event was oranised by solvers india and co organsied by The trio event management group ... The contest was held at the famous kalaiarangam at r.s.puram ... Actor Bharat was the chief invitee who did the honors .. The programme kick started with the traditonal bharatnatyam and dances from footloose a leading dance school in coimbatore... The event was judged by three beautiful women Mrs.shanti suresh MD The Trio, Miss Ankitha who was an ex- miss cotton city winner and Mrs.Mahalakshmi The HOD of hindi department of Nehru maha college.. The lone gentlemanwho judged the same wasMr. Lijo Sungat the proprietor of the famous Pavizham jewellers... The event saw all the 16 contestants on the ramp in different outfits ,bridal round fashion designed by KCT College of fashion designing being the best.. and then a round which showcased there talents culminating with the question answer round where in they had to define what dignity meant to them .. Miss Amritha who was almost the best in each round with a scintillating classical dance to showcase her talent clearly helped her to win the title eventually even as apart from the two runnerups Miss supriya and Miss Kavitha and the others where crowned for all the different titles like the best smile . photogenic face , skin , hair etc.. ...The almost jam packed event was compered by mc danish ... and there was lot of drama when Actor Bharat turned on the dias and danced for the Boys number .. "yennaka oru girl friend venum" with utter ease.. However there was a lot of unexpected fans who landed on the stage resulting lot of chaos... The 4 hour event otherwise went undettered and very entertaining to see all the crowd getting on the nerves of there less favourite contestants ...
Sincerely wish the next year event brings out more talent and wish to greet the organisers for putting up a wonderful show this year ...

.As the curtains fell for 2008 it was time to celebrate the new year and thats what we did at the black thunder resorts mettupalayam.. This water theme park is approximately 4kms away from mettupalayam on the road to OOTY .. The water theme park also has a beautiful resort with 40 odd rooms .. a restaurant and halls to host corporate meets .. Its got a huge playground where the guests could play cricket or football.. The resort is admist a lot of coconut trees and greenery with the queen of westernghats on the back drop its a dream destination for the occassional getaways that you would want to from the bustling rush and activity in the city.. This year we landed at black thunder for the new years eve ofcourse not as a guest but then as a coordinator for events for The Trio event managers who co hosted a show at the Jenneys club the same night .. The entry tickets for couples where priced at 2300/- and for the stags at 1500/- .. We had the programme kick started with performances from the jodis of the small screen . Nivas and neepa both from the maanada mayilada participants , real life couples narender and deepa both more famously known as kolangal upendra and anu followed by sunmusic vj suguna and shakthi of the maanada maayilada fame.. Each of them gave a couple of dance numbers and we had filled up the balance schedule with a dance troop from coimbatore named the dance stream academy .. The group of 25 mostly kids rocked the stage with all the varieties and forms that they have been taught and it was a real 3and half hour extravagenza which eventually culminated with dj shaggy calling out the best foot taping music for the audience to dance on stage as the countdown to the newyear came in grand style.. It was reported that black thunder which usually had a visitor crowd of around 300 had almost 2.5 times the crowd they anticipated and the organisers where in joy inspite of the industrial recession that hit the industrial city of coimbatore and tirupur pretty badly... The show was compered by shrishti who is a vj of the zee tamil channel... and the New year came with a much larger hope that people have more joy fun and happiness in the coming year as well

Having friends online is no big mistake .. i have in my own personal experience having listened to grief and other intimate stories which have become part of there sadness which has really helped me in a way to mould myself a better person .. You shoulder there sorrows and share happiness and joy .. debate on issues .. voice your opinions .. still get emotionally bonded with a person ... i guess you can provide selfless support .. motivation and inspire people just through the virtue of words you type and still seek no rewards for things you do... You have the courage to be honest to point out a mistake and accept yours gracefully and you loose nothing but gain a lot as you develop your personality and your outlook with the different people whom you just start as an aquintance on the net but later transforms into a beautiful relationship called friendship.. All you need to do is make an attempt to put a smile in there lives and you certainly can make a difference in there lifes...
The hazards of online friends who would like to seek a discreet relationship would remain discreet and honestly i feel its a matter of choice what to share and what not to but still care .... I guess there could always be cons in every relationship but then every problem has a solution .. The moment you choose to find a solution the problem is gone ... I sincerely feel that i derive a lot of happiness through things what i share with my online friends and its always a pleasure when i know that i have people to really listen and care for me during my highs and lows in there own little ways online...
Online friends have been real fun as anything goes and you dont feel hurt at the end of the day ... you dont get to see them sometimes never but then does it really matter ... I think online friends can be choosy but then less risky once you get to know and understand them better as everythg they got to say is in black and white and you have ample time to read and digest all that they got to say time and time again .. You have every reason to smile .. cry and feel the bonding as it grows but then the choice is entirely upto you and to what level you want them to be in your lifes .. people will understand as onine friends are more practical as they are bound by lots of limitations ... I feel online friends are bound to stay in years to come....

Online friendship............
It was just another routine day in office when i was busy with my usual morning work .. My mobile starts ringing only to find a new number even as i attend the call there is a voice who calls out a name .. and says due you remember and recognise me ? .. It takes a while before you actually recollect the mails and messages you send across to different people who have posted all those interesting profiles seeking online friendship and say hey .. yes i remember you and greet how are you .. and whats up... Its just a brief call just the introductions and we hang up...
But nothing has changed except that you feel theres someone who recognises you and wants to sincerely call out for friendship and the whole mind gears up to lookout how interesting and sincere this brief phone call turns out to be in days to come ....
Days go by as the phone calls and the messages you exchange on the mail allows you to get closer to know the person better .. and better .. to a point where you ponder whether all these online friendship whether they really work? ......
Theres this perception that online friends can be dangerous as we dont know who they are and no one would have seen them or introduced them to you.. You just need to trust what the person has to say and in a way it is dangerous to the extent that not all online friends can be categorised entirely safe... But then there are means to establish how genuine the people can be before you open out ...
The bigger perceptional difference could also be perhaps that you carry in mind that online friends are meant only for fun to kill your boredom and loneliness and hence its just shortlived and nothing really gets serious... But i guess any relationship can turn serious only if the trust you establish takes a twist to make a sincere attempt to make a relationship out of the less meaningful chats and phone calls to spread happiness and joy through the message of love , faith and respect mutually.. Its certainly not an obligation but then i guess the world needs people from varied quarters of life to share and care more so that we certainly break up the age old traditions of caste creed , societal status and relationship based on physical looks and financial status..
Coming to my own outlook of being an online friend ... i sincerely feel you can develop friendship through online as the electronic media helps to establish your connect with different people with different natures and personalties .. All it takes is an attempt to break our inhibitions to reach out to people and say hi and show them how you care ... I find no reason to worry if the intentions are simple straighforward and sincere .. . There is the practical problem to address as many people who go online try to maintain there own private lifes and hence online friends can never really get into the stream of things directly like the normal friends you meet in you day to day life.. But then there is an certain advantage with online friends because you choose them based on what they look out for unlike normal day to day friends with whom you adapt as they are part of you..
