The Japanese two wheeler giant, Yamaha, launched the FZ motorcycle in India back in 2008. Ever since the bike has been a success mantra and has managed to pull a good amount of sales for Yamaha. The bulky design mixed with the organic cuts definitely managed to grab the attention of young generations of riders who were bored with the basic design philosophy of all the other brands in India. There were a bit of flaws like the high fuel consumption and the poor pillion seating position but that did not stop this bike from becoming a best seller. And now the company is done with upgrading the model cosmetically and have taken some bold moves in coming up with an all new upgraded version. Calling it the FZ version 2.0 the bike has cosmetic as well as mechanical changes. It now gets a fuel injected motor which the company is calling as ‘Blue Core’. There is a difference of just Rs 5000 between the older and new models and Yamaha is planning to sell both the models.
