It is good video player but not good as MX player I have been using both VLC player and MX player when comparing both player I think MX player is the best because when forwarding the video MX player does it quick but VLC is a little laggy and on starting video MX player is fast when compared with VLC player.
But VLC is good upon MX player only in some cases like MX player doesnt support some audio formate but VLC player supports all audio formate. In comparing between these two players I will suggest you to download MX player.
