Yesterday I saw The Best Seller which is an action film directed by Suman Maitra and produced by Saibal Ganguly. It cast Malobika Banerjee and Saumen Bhowmik is in the lead roles while Wry Mukhopadhyay and Amit Saha appear in supporting roles. The movie shows the struggles that two sisters go through in their life. Anu, the elder sister grows up in the red light area of Kolkata and her life is nothing less than a struggle that begins every morning. Anu does everything possible so that her twelve year old sister Ayesha does not have to go through a similar crisis and she is smuggled out of the area. Without any knowledge of her past, Ayesha grows up to be an educated woman and twelve years later meets Anu in her attempt to trace her roots. Ayesha tries her best to convince Anu to walk out, she simultaneously writes the story of their hardships in the form of a novel that goes on to become a best seller. An epic movie must watch.
