I live in Bangalore. After being bombarded with Tata Sky adverts, tired of hazy cable receptions and most importantly favorable reviews about Tata Sky on mouthshut, I went in for a Tata Sky connection.
The process was easy and flawless from the start. I bought the set-top box from one of the dealers. They called Tata Sky for me and the person on the phone promised installation the next day.
The installation guys were there promptly at my house at the promised time. In about an hour or so, they installed the dish, laid the cable and got everything working. They did a neat job of laying the cable and put in clips to hold the cable in place along the walls.
I have read a lot of bad reviews about DishTV and somehow I would not trust the Zee TV blokes myself. Customer service with Tata Sky is great as of now.
Finally I can bid adieu to my irritating and mostly non-functional cable provider.
Its a great start with Tata Sky and hoping that it gets better.
